Ha. I think it just goes to show these things don't look good by luck. Everything needs to be looked at in forensic detail. The design they came up with was boring but not objectively bad . The issues in my opinion came from a really really crap font for the letters (zoom in on each letter individually, it's like they we written by hand) and then the flags behind the goal. They fell for the salesman's line from the company they bought the stuff from, he tries to up sell people the metallic looking flags rather than the matt colour ones. They would have asked for red and white and ended up with silver and shiny red which looked crap. The stripes in that herringbone pattern were too thin as well so it just merged into a mess.

What's the current top band at the moment? I've seen people with close to 700 points now. So if the scheme stays as it is, a new ST holder would be able to catch the top band at a rate of 19 points per season at best (assumes the top band magically stop going to games which they won't), assuming we get promoted. 700/19 = 36 seasons

Only just watched their goals but I'm not overly fussed about them, the first one just happened to fall to their player to tap in rather than ours, and the second one ends up in the stands 99 times out of 100 in this league.
