  1. Thomas not scoring over 8 is criminal for me too. I’ve been Thomas out for years now but it’s important to acknowledge when someone plays well too. He was easily an 8 out of 10 for me. Both centre backs had a great game yesterday.
  2. Are you purposefully choosing to ignore the chance where Alves got round the fullback cut it back and JJ hit the bar? Literally one of our better chances came from the very thing you’re saying he can not do? Strange.
  3. No, but if you’re booing a collective that includes the young players it would be hard to not think that includes yourself right?
  4. Can anyone explain to me why with the new financial rules, wages appear more important than book values and profit margins. I’ve seen a couple of people allude to it but can’t fully get my head around it.
  5. As others have already said, the negativity is natural after the few seasons we have had. The club is rotten from top to bottom currently, whether we like to hear it or not RM has been spot on with most he’s said about the current mindset at the club. It’s very rare that 2-3 Leicester fans can even come to a mutual agreement on any discussion regarding the club other than the way we’ve been ran and how shit Mavididi is . This style of football is like Marmite. I personally love it and was a huge advocate of Enzo whilst he was getting stick by many. However, in the same breathe I understand why so many can’t stand it. It requires patience and more like a game of chess rather than heavy metal football which many see as boring and I fully understand that also. I will be honest, personally I found the booing after yesterday’s game very surprising. But I think people are ignoring the sheer turnover we’ve had in playing squad and it is an important factor. The squad has had a turnover of 20+ players coming and leaving and is likely to be at the 30 figure by the end of the window. That’s a huge turnover figure for any team regardless of level. Ultimately, it’s going to take at least 10 games for it to really start clicking, the question is what results do we get in that time frame and will everyone have the patience to let it happen before the panic button gets hit.
  6. I hate these type of links from other clubs because I never know whether they are just chancers or actually have some inside knowledge.
  7. Agreed, Souttar plus £5m for Keillor-Dunn and Dobson feels like fair business all round in my opinion.
  8. His ability to play on the half turn and drive out of our own half with the ball is premier league level. Unreal ability for his age.
  9. Not only did he play for him, he made him captain on several occasions so ticks another RM box. Feels odd that they haven’t moved for him. Seems to much of an obvious choice.
  10. I thought that was the amount they turned down?
  11. Surely the most obvious player to include in a part ex is Davis Keillor-Dunn? He’s played 18 minutes for them this year.
  12. Being at the game I actually thought he was solid, however, he I’m not going to ignore he was fully at fault for the goal. But his overall game I thought was okay. To me he appears to be growing in confidence on the ball and I feel you can see an improvement from that perspective already.
  13. His ability to do so and now having someone in the pivot willing to do so in Page is the difference between our first 2 performances and our last 2 performances for me. it’s a crazy comparison but the likes of teams such as Barca who managers like RM are obsessed with, often turnover the ball but by trying to feed balls through the lines with constant runners in behind. It’s essential for the system to work. That’s why I would keep Souttar personally. On the topic of runners in behind, it has to be mentioned Bristric is really going to help this team, his constant runs in behind have allowed us more space in the final 3rd. He doesn’t stop moving.
  14. Probably unpopular opinion but I’ve been impressed with Souttar the last few games. Seems to be the only central defender willing to bring the ball back out of defence and he’s always looking to feed the ball through to the runs we make forward rather than going sideways or backwards. Easily could of had a couple of assists yesterday.
  15. I can’t help but feel we need 4 more players. With Page moving into the holding midfield role (I think that’s his best role) and Alves seemingly only being viewed as a winger, I feel we need another attacking midfielder who can actually create as well as another holding midfielder to create competition for Page. Then you have the two obvious ones of a centre back and striker. That’s 4 total. CB - John Souttar or Victor Ericsson (Hammarby) CDM - Oli Norwood, Charlie Savage or Lukas Fadinger (Motherwell) CAM - Kamari Doyle (Loan, might as well get 3 Brighton lads) or Patrick Kelly. ST - Davis Keillor-Dunn or Shim Mhueka (Loan) I would love us to move Alves inside and sign Abdulmalik from Boreham Wood. A front 5 of Abdulmalik, Alves, Braybrooke and Howell behind Bristric would be a problem.
  16. Another thread turned into Rudkin themed 😒
  17. Would be smart to include him in any deal for Souttar. Really want Wootton though I think he could be a problem in this team and is exactly what we need to hold the back up to allow us to progress further up the pitch and be a problem getting on the end of crosses.
  18. Is this a quick turn around for a deadline for first bids? Feels to me that this is a short deadline.
  19. First time going to MK. Any pointers of where to park? Also, is there an allocated away boozer?
  20. He got questioned what was meant by defensive style of play and has gone quiet since, don’t buy it personally.
  21. People asking for a fast left back, we’ve got McFarlane and he somehow isn’t getting a single minute. I’m hoping for something realistic like this: In: - John Souttar - Ilari Kangasniemi - A holding midfielder I like Malachi Boateng from Plymouth. - Davis Keillor-Dunn or Shim Mhueka (Loan). Out: - Faes - Coulibaly - Skipp - Mavididi
  22. If he wants to be elsewhere then good luck, onto the next one.
  23. Irrelevant to Page, he does not play in the single pivot role.
  24. Likewise, had a mare for their goal but I’m surprised most said they thought he was awful all game.
