Obviously I know it’s funding dependent but I think the most important thing is trying to get it done at the same time with project reset and working together. Sends a clearer message and gets more media coverage making the point stronger.

I think most importantly knowing how delusional the club at the top are, if we aim it at certain players they’ll just take that down as managerial decisions rather than taking accountability. We need to be smart with our messages, make them clear and direct. Finances, managerial merry-go round, broken promises, transfer history etc. I think an open discussion with fans regarding what their problems are with Rudkin, calculating a common theme of around 5 messages and wording them smartly is the way forward.

The only thing I will say regarding the messages is I’m not a fan of messages directly aimed at players, for example “who gave De-Cordova Reid a 3 year contract” that’s not his fault he’s just signing the contract the idiot provided him. i know that’s the point of the message but I think it needs to be more direct at the person/people you are aiming it at and not drag players into it.

Huge point. I’ve stated elsewhere now isn’t the time to think about relationships. Change is needed, we are losing our football club at a rapid pace! In our defence with Bassey, we wanted to convert him into a centre back but he wanted a future as a left back, which never happened. So we actually identified the right thing with him.

Your second point isn’t possible due to PSR. Sacking Rudkin isn’t a short term change, it’s a long term answer with transfer fee’s and contracts being spent more wisely with a clear vision and identity to who we are and what we want to be.

People forget we are a one club city too. In the UK it’s not really spoke about much but from an investors perspective it’s a very attractive proposition. Only 6 teams in the premier league are single club cities… Us, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Brighton, Wolverhampton and Southampton.

Genuine question, what’s stopping a group like Union FS arranging a mass grouping prior to a game protesting for the board to be removed? Inform tv crews they’ll be all over it and get big media attention! I feel it’s time someone steps up and tries to make a difference. I’ll be honest as much as I like Cannon, for a £10m upfront fee it seems to good of a deal to turn down based off our current financial situation and needs in the squad. After signing Coulibaly for £3m, including the £10m fee being recieved from Cannon and the original forecast of having £12-£14m to spend. That leaves you with around £19-£21m to spend. Leaves you around £10m for a couple of players and a few million for a loan player. Get a centre back, winger and a striker. As much as I like Cannon and his potential, the overall balance of the squad is more important to us in our current situation.

Willian would be the one I’m looking at depending on wage demands. You’ll be able to get him on a short term deal and he did well whilst at Fulham.
