  1. It's the whole club. Including the fanbase, which has been caused by the club, specifically those who make the big decisions. This squad is full of overpaid egos and I'm sure there's added pressure to play those players until we get them off the books.
  2. Spot on, mate. Chopping and changing constantly except the two dickheads at centre back. There's literally no obvious style of play. Other than losing the ball high up the pitch and being hit on the counter. I expected so much more from Marti. He speaks a good game. You do have to wonder what pressures he's on from above to be playing some of these higher earners. Irrespective of that, he had made some strange changes. Some of which seem unnecessary. Soumare in for Ramsey as an example. I despise this squad.
  3. The team that contained Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans and Vardy shouldn't have got relegated a couple of years ago. I get your point. The league is shit but so are these players. We are rotten. Any managing coming in will face the same thing. Big changes needed and it starts at the top.
  4. It's not worked any time he's played there. He's been brilliant sitting a bit deeper. But obviously we drop the number 10 who recently scored to put Soumare in.
  5. You're assuming they are good enough to play for anyone.
  6. Dog bob. Whats your betting James is pushed up to number 10 despite his best games being deeper. Wank.
  7. Love Leicester City but ****ing hate everything about how we are managed from the top. Absolute joke.
  8. I go whenever Leicester aren't playing. Nugent hasn't played a minute yet so time will tell. Conrad was levels above in fairness. He got abused on a weekly basis about his weight but he's clearly head and shoulders above the rest.
  9. Nugent signed as player coach at Anstey Nomads. He's joining Conrad Logan as part of coaching team albeit Conrad has retired
  10. A good away win against a team who could have gone into the top 6 with a win. I reiterate what I've said multiple times - this league is shit. It's there for the taking. We have plenty of quality. We just seem to play with the handbrake on at times. Unsure whether its a MARTI thing or a mental thing. James is class. Chuckle ***** at the back trying hard to lose us points again. Get Faes as far away from this club as possible. Fire the ***** to the moon.
  11. These pair of ***** at the back have cost us points in the last 3 games. Still the best we've got though. Get ****ed.
  12. Ben Nelson isn't someone fresh out of the academy. He's got football league experience at this level, both with us and Oxford. Besides a shaky first half in the cup this season, he's not looked out of place playing at this level. I can't speak for everyone but I am sick to death of Faes and Vestagaard. I can just about stomach one of them and that would be Vestagaard as at least you know what you get with him. Faes is ****ing useless in every aspect of defending. Nelson is not a gamble. Continuously selecting The Chuckle Brothers will be.
  13. Said the same in the match thread: We control the ball for large parts. Sometimes threaten to do something special (the goal as an example) but mainly create nothing. We are a brain fart at the back away from conceding most games. We play one speed, which is so causal and our only outlet after passing it about 50 times is to give to the wingers and say "go on then, do something." I thought Marti got it right with the starting 11 (don't want Faes in the squad but will accept he's going to play). But the subs were shocking. I'm assuming BDR isn't fit for 90 rather than it being tactical. If he can't do 90, select a number 10 on the bench such as Page. James was great a bit deeper and breaking from deep. He's ruining his game by moving him there. I'm not Marti out but he's got to start earning his money. Not good enough
  14. It feels like a lot of games so far this season. Control possession. Don't create too much but threaten to potentially create something great (see the goal). Always a brain fart at the back away from conceding. Thomas needs to get dragged. Don't see Kristiansen doing any better but we don't want to go down to 10 in another game that we should be winning.
  15. The thing is, he didn't really even commit himself. He sort of just fell on the floor in slow motion. Did similar second half. Awful defending. As you've alluded too, it's basic stuff.
  16. Not a number 9. Makes us worse as a number 10. I don't dislike him. He's not shit. He just doesn't work with this team. I wasn't overly impressed with Carrenza's performance when he came out but arguably he had the disadvantage of having Ayew behind him rather than James. Changes are needed. Ayew is the first.
  17. This league really is crap but we got away with that again. We weren't great first half but we controlled possession. We lost all control when James came off and Ayew played as a 10. Ayew isn't a bad player. But its just not working. Carranza didn't look great. Daka is Daka. Only hope is we can find the right formula. If we do, promotion is there for the taking.
  18. A game which we have controlled in possession, yet when we lose the ball we look like we will concede.
  19. I agree. Obviously this is hypothetical and there's many things to factor. I was trying to point out the question from the OP. From a personal perspective, I wouldn't mind paying a flat fee for an appointment but I agree, in general it likely wouldn't work. Hospitals are already overwhelmed. Particularly A&E. Asking people to pay for a GP appointment would just send those who cannot afford or who refuse to pay to the hospital and just lead to more issues there. The minute you start charging people at A&E, you have pretty much started privatisation of our NHS. The question/point made and the potential for raising extra funds is a good talking point and I think some have missed the point and turned it political.
  20. I think the point being is that we already pay for dental appointments and we pay for prescriptions, so why would anybody be against paying for an appointment at the doctors if it's going to improve the services. This isn't about making the NHS private. Similar with the dentist and prescriptions, certain people would be exempt for payment (such as pregnant women and children, as an example). I am anti privatisation. I love that we have the NHS. I do have private healthcare through work. But that's not the conversation!
  21. If paying £20 meant I got an appointment when required, I wouldn't be against it but in general GPs are shite. The common practice for a GP is to refer people to the hospital anyway. So it begs the question - what am I paying for? I honestly feel like GPs need to up their game first but I appreciate it's like a vicious cycle, with lack of funding etc so this could be a way to generate more money. I don't think it's a bad idea but as others have said, most wouldn't support. I certainly do not support privatisation of the NHS in general, which I know wasn't what was asked.
  22. The Soumare and Skipp pairing is the only criticism I will have. Today was the first time we've genuinely had options. Moving forward I'd like to to think we won't see both on the pitch together. Hopefully Winks has his head on straight and I fully expect James to be a starter. Everything else is a work in progress and there are some good signs. Second half today I thought tactically he got it spot on. A couple of dubious subs late on aside. We need to be patient.
  23. Celebrated the equaliser. Clapped the fans. Hopefully whatever beef there's been has been squashed now. Miles ahead of Soumare, Winks and anyone else we've got.
  24. For what's its worth i thought we were decent at times second half given the circumstances. Stupid tackle from Ramsey. Good second goal. Need to get Ricardo in the team ASAP. Winks too if he's stopped sulking.
