  1. Possibly because he has very little options around him. Particularly in forward positions. He's certainly not too slow either. Certainly not off the ball, which is usually a criticism of new players in the Premier League. His pressing and overall strength is great. He's also no donkey with the ball. So yeah, a bit harsh.
  2. Aside from selecting Ward, he's not had much choice with team selections. We've been hit with injuries to our most exciting player and one who you would fancy to have replaced Justin. Add the recent injuries to Mads and Ndidi, plus the suspension of Soumare too. This squad/team as a collective isn't good enough. Particularly in defensive positions. The difference being, Cooper had a pre season and RVN didn't. We need a good January transfer window. I have no faith in the club. I suspect Ruud will be gone by March because of this.
  3. We just aren't good enough. That goal before half time killed us though. We actually looked pretty disciplined up until then.
  4. I did and I do. For his penalty saves alone I wouldn't put him on that list.
  5. Blasphemy
  6. Despite the fact it feels like we are certain for relegation, the reality of it happening is scary. We genuinely are knackered as a club. We have no identity or model which makes us sustainable. We still pay too much on wages. Average players (at best) earning those high wages. Our recruitment overall has been poor for a while. Luckily we should generate some money from Mads but beside that, are there many others? We've not really utilised our youth setup, which for a club of our size and stature is criminal. Without sounding like a broken record and repeating what many have already said - whilst those who are currently running the club are here (Rudkin, Wheelan etc..) nothing will change. If anything we will continue to decline further and further. Nevermind the Jamie Vardy story or our historic league title, there'll be a documentary into the decline of Leicester City in a couple of years time!
  7. Who within the club has decided that playing an "inverted" winger is the way to go with this squad? This is the first thing Ruud needs to address. That was my main reason for wanting Cooper out. It's clearly now rooted within the club. His selection, tactics and substitutions were poor today. He has a lot to learn and fast.
  8. I reckon a slug would be better in goal
  9. Wtf has any of what you have posted got to do with anything? Absolute nonsense. Our fans are soft as shit. Bet some clapped them off today. Bunch of shit houses on and off the pitch. The players and the club deserve pelters.
  10. I'm surprised that people are surprised with this team. Other than Facundo not playing, the rest is as expected.
  11. For those of us that stay til the end, can we petition for a slide at the top of the Kop to get out a little quicker. Does my ****ing head in every game being stuck on the stairs.
  12. Leicester supports, SUPPORTING a player who has greatly improved and playing closer to what we expected when we signed him....SHOCK.
  13. Form has nothing to do with it. He was exactly the same last season. He's consistently bad. He has moments of looking great - whether it's a long pass or a good tackle but ultimately his postioning is horrendous and makes brain dead decisions. He must be a nightmare to partner with. Hopefully other teams take notice of the brief moments of good play and make us a good offer. Then bomb him out ASAP.
  14. His energy, pressing and chaos will be useful this season. If Ruud gets us pressing as a unit, he'll find himself winning the ball a lot in the final third, hopefully giving him a few more chances. He has his flaws but it'll be nice to see what Ruud can do on the training pitch with him.
  15. Exactly. It's a team issue. Hopeful its something Ruud will work on as we can't carry on being bypassed so easily and conceding so many chances. That being said, there's been a vast improvement from Soumare and he deserves credit for that. Time will tell if Ruud can find a system to complement him long term but he deserves his place at present.
  16. Who is better is up for the debate with the rest of the footballing community. Vardy is our GOAT. I wouldn't exchange him for anyone. There'll be lazy and uneducated comments about Vardy from the wider community - specifically around the way he plays and his finishing (Owen). We all know that over the years he's managed to adapt his game and his footballing ability is criminally under rated. Yes Rooney had amazing footballing ability and early in his career in particular he played with freedom unlike many players before himi. Yes Harry Kane is the all time England goalscorer and one of the best goal scorers this country has produced. Neither have what Vardy has though and it's difficult to even describe.
  17. This is where the comparison ends. Me putting a sign up in public wouldn't make a jot of difference. My previous comment said that this shows a lack of respect. But it's hardly a surprise. It was quite clear both from what the "rumours" stated and what we could see on the pitch that the players didn't buy into him.
  18. Firstly, chill..it ain't that deep. Secondly, this isn't anything new. Footballers and specifically Leicester players have a Christmas piss up every season. A break away together could help rejuvenate the squad. I can speak for myself, when I'm worried about work, the last thing I want to do is carry on working out of hours. I take a break away and figure things out.
  19. Some comments in this thread are wild. A team having their Christmas piss up shouldn't be a shock. The Enzo comments shock a lack of respect towards Cooper but is anyone surprised? Glad to see there's still a team bond there. Even if it's on the piss and not on the pitch.
  20. I'd have sacked him after Villa at home. Left it far too late.
  21. We've still got time to get relegated having sacked 3 managers in 1 season. I'm on board with these records..
  22. I don't like this Prem football. What an awful advert for the game. Not so beautiful anymore. Constant stop start. Diving. Time wasting. Delaying corners. Could go on. We didn't deserve anything. We lack something in that final third and we are a Faes mistake from conceding each week. Not a good combination.
  23. With Daka back, I can now see us losing 5 nil instead of 5-1.
  24. That's what Cooper has done to me mate, which is even more concerning. I just have no anger or frustration because I know we will be shit
