Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Lionator replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
obviously FFP is a scam, but the denialism by the club is full on ostriching. -
See the cynical part of me thinks/knows that some people make a hell of a lot of money out of moral panics. Look at the anti-EDI movement in the States at the moment. Millionaires raking it in from manipulating people's fears of brown people in powerful positions in institutions.

Fair enough some women may get anxious around transfemales using female toilets, however I have some counter points (not interested in arguing, rather respectful debate as I may be inaccurate). 1) It comes back to the same point that a pervert is going to perv regardless of gender. How many people realistically dress as women, declare themselves as a transwoman just so that they can be perv? 2) How much of the anxiety is exacerbated by the moral panic created about trans people?

Basically us this season but without three other teams being good too.

Annoying but pleased for him. Can see him being in the England reckoning quite quickly if he can keep improving given his height/left armedness.

San Marino at 1-1 against St. Kitts looking for their first win since 2004.

Why no Fatawu?

Don’t think it’s a hack, reading forums it appears to be a software upgrade malfunction. McDonald’s and Sainsburys were confirmed not to be hacks.

Leicester. By Brendan Rodgers. -
I think Georgia will do it having home advantage in both ties.
-
Let’s be honest, id be more concerned about Enzo’s wellbeing if he was happy with stuff behind the scenes. Because it’s a shambles, and he’s not naive enough to not know it.

Ndidi or Iheanacho are in the Nigeria squad.

Is the sensible US/European policy now to basically fund Ukraine enough to ensure they can defend what they have, but not to push onto Crimea/Donbass and create a geopolitical crisis. Make it a total meat grinder for Russia so that it takes them years to remilitarise themselves. Basically a never ending war so that Russia isn't a threat to NATO. Also a wild thing I read on the website formerly known as twitter is that the USA and Russia both took part in navy exercises alongside each other in India.

It would have to be a root and branch restart and rightly so. If we fail to get promotion it would be so toxic for those involved following relegation that there would be no future at the club. The only one's you'd realistically want to stay are the two goalkeepers, Abdul, Stephy, Cannon, Coady and that's about it. Everyone else could do one.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

I think the last 3 paragraphs of the forest statement are very strong. And one which we should also get behind. Of wider concern for all aspirant clubs is the disturbing effect this decision will have on the operation of the player trading model. This is the only model by which clubs outside of the small group at the very top end of the Premier League can realistically advance up the football pyramid. The rationale of the Commission is that clubs should only invest after they have realised a profit on their player development. This reasoning destroys mobility in the football pyramid and the effect of the decision will be to drastically reduce the room for manoeuvre for all such clubs, leading to the stagnation of our national game. We believe that the high levels of cooperation the Club has shown during this process, and which are confirmed and recorded in the Commission's decision, were not reciprocated by the Premier League -

Looks like our 'offence' is probably worse than their's and more akin to Everton so would expect a 6 to 10 point deduction. -
This really is it. The higher the climb, the bigger the fall. And we all knew it would eventually come, but it still feels way too soon, and more soon than it needed to be. It will never get better than 2016, and that's a very depressing thought even if it was beyond amazing at the time. Something needs to happen at the club where we can reset our relationship with the club and the sport.

Tbh I have a lot going on and football which is usually the outlet is just compounding everything at the moment

This is why I’ve been enjoying the darts recently. There’s still an innocence and fun in watching it which doesn’t exist in football.
-
They’ve conceded 6 goals in their last 16 games.

This is good cope but ultimately it doesn’t matter if any other season would see us miles ahead. Because this season is essentially do or die for the future of the club. If we don’t go up, we will be Stoke, Derby, Sunderland etc for the next five seasons and beyond.

Exactly one month ago Leeds were 12 behind us and Ipswich 18. Absolutely f*** this football club and its constant ability to fail and crumble under pressure.
-
Like being battered week after week if we somehow get back up.

FA Cup: Chelsea (A) 4-2 Post-Match Thread
Lionator replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
I thought it was a poor performance KDH aside. The defensive slopiness was league two standard and the front 3 were a complete waste of space besides the goal. Ndidi looks a shell of his former self after a bright start. If that's how we perform in knockout games then we aren't getting through the play off semi final. -
Brenzo Maresca.
