I’d be tempted to sell Mads too if needed. We could easily pick up a decent goalkeeper on the cheap. -

He’ll go to a club who will find themselves in the same situation in 12-24 months. The top teams won’t take him, a foreign team can’t afford him, so it’ll be a Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth etc. -

Remember Brendan throwing a hissy fit after the Brentford game, having used no subs, saying the club hadn’t backed him, knowing full well what the situation. While his media mates said the same thing. Then didn’t have the guts to walk away because he wanted his pay out. I just clenched my fist in the office thinking about it. -
Just giving it a watch now. It was great wasn’t it. Properly good stuff and hopefully a turning moment in this crazy race.

If you watch the one from the other day, he completely misjudged it and basically went head first towards the ball. I’d imagine there must be a technique thing involved.

You know what I also hate about this sport. Sheffield United sold their two highest earners and ‘best players’ before the start of the season to avoid this situation, and were subsequently mocked, laughed at and called unserious. They were basically on a hiding to nothing regardless of what they did.

Awful shot there though. -
I notice the Tigers CEO has been all over the media explaining to fans why prices have gone up on season tickets etc (aka taking responsibility). Forest also have good comms when it comes to this sort of stuff. We on the other hand, are basically in a footballing equivalent of Putin's Russia in the sense of 'we'll make your life as a fan easy, provided that you never question us'.

It is all a bit of a mockery though. Man City and Newcastle both are owned by people who have literally infinite amounts of money, so what's even the point of sustainability rules for them? It also makes me wonder how long the likes of Villa, Wolves etc can go on for, and how on earth someone like Bournemouth can be fine given their fanbase size?

If he went, it'd be nailed on that we'd end up with Potter surely. Personally, I'd like to see him bring in a few players and see what he can do.
