Pathetic capitulation.

Of course and it's going to take a long time to regain public trust, if it ever will.

I think in the face of appalling and reckless political pressure and appalling behaviour by a select few, the met police and its commissioner Rowley did a job they should be proud of.

Was probably the best player. Class above.

Hardly, you can see where this is going.

Starting to get fraud vibes.

82 arrests so far from Tommy’s boys. This has to be put firmly on the head of the Home Secretary.

One of Macron’s USP is international diplomacy to be fair, it’s one of the things that he’s genuinely good at. I’ve seen a clip this morning of the Israeli UN delegate suggesting that UN volunteers in Palestine are members of Hamas. Wild stuff.

The US seems to have done it through going hard on manufacturing jobs. I’m not sure we can do that.

I’m not sure that razing everything to the ground is the answer though? If they’re that convinced that Hamas are hiding in hospitals, why don’t they send in the special forces for a fire fight rather than obliterating whole hospitals killing hundreds of innocents each time? A fire fight would still kill innocents but not at the same level. It’s warped.

I was at the Sunderland game and sat in the Kop and I was stunned how much criticism there was for Hermansen.

I fear if they can free the hostages and evacuate people, there’s a small chance of Israel nuking the Gaza Strip. If they make it unliveable then that solves the problem.

Finished work late so nipped in the Toby carvery, lovely

Agreed, one of her main problems as well is that her whole facade is that everything is corrupt and terrible and that she is somehow going to save us all. The problem is she's put about 80% of the population in that corrupt and terrible bracket, and offers absolutely nothing credible as to how she'd save us. She's not even a good liar. A horrible, ugly person inside and out who needs to be far away from politics.

So unless I misheard, we can knock Pakistan out by simply winning the toss and batting first. If Pakistan bat first then they’d need to beat us by 290+ runs. Which I’d suggest is unlikely but you never know. I can imagine we’d want to bat first so it’ll certainly lead to an interesting scenario. -
People aren’t turning conservative as they get older as the majority have nothing to conserve. House = can’t afford it, car = on finance, job = not safe.

I really hope the march on Saturday goes ahead peacefully and the organisers and police can stick two fingers up to the thug who is Home Secretary, it’s genuinely dangerous the things she is saying.

That end behind the goal looks insanely good. -

If Xhaka commits that foul, everyone would say red. Ultimately intent may not have been there but he trod on his ankle and it was very ugly. -
Comes back to the original point that both Hamas and IDF/Israeli government are both horrible fascists who need replacing/eradicating.

Where are you getting those stats from, it would be interesting to read?

The Bazball cabal of Root, Bairstow, Stokes and Buttler have been shambolic the tournament and have been at the heart of everything going wrong. Time to move on from their ego's I think in terms of ODI's. It's good when it comes off but it's dire when it doesn't. -
I can't believe he's only 24. Would like to see how Cannon gets on before going in for him though.

Or you're only noticing the statements on Israel because that's where the global media attention is? You can find plenty of UN statements and resolutions on the recent ethnic cleansing in the Karabakh region by the Azerbaijani's. In fact the UN were the only one's standing up for the Armenians when the world turned a blind eye to the Azerbaijani atrocities (because oil). UN Chief Calls For 'Immediate End' To Fighting In Azerbaijan's Karabakh | Barron's (barrons.com) By the way I do think it's stupid that the Labour person resigned.
