The UN is anti semitic is a new one I have to say. Maybe if they stopped bombing children, hospitals and humanitarian corridors then the UN wouldn’t have to be so vocal. *Hamas’s disgusting attack does not justify the mass slaughter of thousands of innocent civilians.

Champions League Thread 2023/2024

Newcastle are going to need to win in Paris to stand a chance by the look of things. -
Is there not an option to go through work/HR to get that workload reduced? We are only human at the end of the day and a lot of the time managers take people like you for granted and would accommodate you if they knew how you were feeling (if they’re worth their salt anyway). A lot of the time they simply don’t realise. Anyway if you do choose to get signed off then there’s no shame, it’s what the option is there for! Good luck and please keep sharing on here if you can, that’s what we’re here for!

This place astounds me, what has it achieved? 13 wins from 15 and the best ever start to a championship season.

I hate Aussies -
Johnson's personality and morals are disgusting but in 2019, Brexit aside, he was offering a broadly centrist political manifesto, like Levelling Up. Trump's personality and morals are even more disgusting than Johnson's but his policies are also stupid and backwards, and we have four years of evidence where he achieved absolutely nothing. Compare to the way Biden has managed Ukraine/Russia and then the inflation reduction act to mitigate the economic mess, then it makes no sense to me why anyone would prefer Trump on social or economic grounds.

Can’t see them losing from here with Rashid and Nabi still having 20 overs in the bag. -
Biden hasn’t even been that bad, outside of this era youd think he’d romp to re-election.

Is there a realistic timeline to him not being able to stand?

Team Toddington. to be fair all of the services on that stretch of the m1 are horrific.

Unfortunately they could try but the wokerati with their luxury beliefs and hate marches have made the lifestyle choice to ignore the British values of common decency. God I hate politicians.

Thomas and Taylor confirmed as head and assistant coaches.

Of course there are people in those protesting groups with uncomfortable and immoral views but I don’t think that should mean eliminating their right to protest as it would lead to far more problems later on.

This happens every year, is the cenotaph actually under threat or is that what they want you to believe so that they can divide us even more? Obviously anybody who vandalises something that means so much to people is an idiot who should be publicly shamed.

I hope Rowley holds his nerve this week and allows the protest to go ahead given that the organisers have said it will not be in Whitehall and not at 11am. I find the government using veterans to stoke their pathetic culture wars, with their meaningless ‘British values’ nonsense cold and cynical. Especially so given how they treat veterans, many of whom experience homelessness, but I guess that’s a lifestyle choice ey.

I don’t get it? Why do they want him to step aside? Who do they think will replace him?

One thing I’ve learnt from the championship is that it’s easy to forgive a ref who makes an error as they’re only human. VAR makes that very hard. I think it would be easier for refs if they could actually ref again.
