https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c205gnz5p8xo this is controversial obviously but one thing under reported is that there’s plenty of evidence of Maccabi fans engaging in disgraceful behaviour. If it was Hapoel on the other hand, I’d be upset.

Vote him out, do it for Andrew Sachs!! Edit: idiots (except for Marler)

To be fair the 32 team format is literally the best format of any competition in any sport I reckon. Once you get into best third places, the competition loses something. The next two world cups will be a joke. 2026 will be a Trump circus given he’s Infantino’s best mate. 2030 is likely to be played across 6 countries and 3 continents despite Spain (with or without Portugal) having the infrastructure to host a 48 team World Cup. 2034 is corrupt for obvious reasons but might be a laugh. 2038 it’ll probably be held on Mars.

Not only that but football is significantly different now to 10 and 20 years ago. Individuals could have a bigger impact back then. Now it’s ALL systems. Players are signed to fit into systems, whereas 20 years ago you’d adapt around players.

Yes his wife was Angie Stone, creator of this stone cold classic -
The big question for Tuchel, does Bellingham and Foden get back in the team?
-
Really was like having an extra player in midfield. Even in the 2018 World Cup, Pogba played the best football of his career almost solely because of the space Kante was creating for him.
-
I believe all but one of the eight World Cups held in the americas has been won by a non South American team, probably for good reason.
-
Kante between 2016-18 was arguably the best midfielder in the world, backed up by him winning two premier leagues and a World Cup where he was the best player in each team.
-
This is not true, we swept teams like Latvia aside easily under Southgate too. But I agree this is a bit easier to watch.

England Internationals Wales and Latvia

We’ve gotten better at breaking average teams down. Will wait til we play a decent team before coming to conclusions. Serbia were supposed to be our biggest challenge and they’ve been a shambles. Can’t even beat Andorra. -

Classic Kane here, tremendous finishing, outrageously theatrical dive to win a penalty, scoring a penalty to stat pad -
Someone once told me when lifting/using machines, if you’re not sure technique wise, keep everything still and straight except for the muscles/limbs that you’re using.

Yep and because that group has been competitive, the second place team had no chance of qualification. So you could be a poorer team but with an easier group and get into the play offs. Bit silly really. i take this all back, it looks like Nigeria have made it to the play offs on goal difference
-
Congrats Bafana Bafana. It means no Nigeria at the World Cup (sad for Wild). Cameroon can still likely make it through the play offs but it’s a bit of a journey.

Going well for South Africa so far, 2-0 up v Rwanda. Nigeria beating Benin 1-0. Assuming SA win, Nigeria can’t overtake them and Benin would likely need to win given the GD.

The top half of the national league could all probably compete in league two with little issue. The gap doesn’t seem big at all.
-
I reckon they’ll fancy their chances out in Slovakia. Looks like Wales are going to have a must win game v Macedonia just to get a play off place which might be tricky.

I personally much prefer Belfast to Dublin. The food scene is very good, much cheaper for a pint of the black stuff than Dublin too. Like others have said, getting out to the causeway is a must. Some lovely little towns on the way too, Carnlough of Game of thrones fame in particular. I also really liked the Ulster museum which I believe is free? IF it’s your thing, a west Belfast tour is informative whether a walking one or taxi, but obviously it’s very political, has major references to violence and might feel a bit sketchy.

Sadly the Czechs will win their last game and they can’t qualify through the nations league route either
