We seem to do better with 3 wingers on the pitch rather than 3 midfielders.

We are winning, it can be boring to watch but I'm not overly bothered so long as we get out of this division. Considering I thought we would languish with all the crud collected over the past couple seasons, no one can really complain that Enzo is getting the best out of these players considering what a liability Vestergard was thought to be as an example. Personally I still think Enzo put a misdirected threat of leaving out there to stop his better players from being sold out from under him during the transfer window because lets face it, if he had remained quiet KDH might be wearing another clubs shirt right now. Think we will get a few more quotes from him coming towards the end of the season if we go up automatically to ensure he gets backed or he will walk knowing he can get another job.

Top is not a saint, just a person but we have been spoiled, I remember the days when we had little money, just relying on good managers here and there who were on their way up before departing, often replaced by mediocrity which was all we could afford and we would yo yo between the top two divisions sometimes flirting with a drop into the third. Eventually our luck ran out, we went bust, was saved by ex players and others putting their hands into their pockets but we were in rapid decline and dropped for the first time, hopefully the last, into the third tier for one season. Pearson arrived and took us back up but we were still paupers, renting a stadium that was in need of repair and with Mandaric trying to turn us into a saleable asset. Then we got very, very lucky. Looking at so many other teams that were utterly destroyed by their owners like Bolton, should give everyone food for thought. I never want to have that feeling of when we went bust and talk of winding the club up back again, that really was a reality back then for those not around so even though there are those that hate the saying, be careful what you wish for, you may not like what you get.

He may occasionally drift into getting a goal or some minutes of good play but he is a very average go nowhere player who should have been moved on long ago but like a lot of our dead wood, no one wants to waste the cash on him.

Cant see that happening, Enzo would quit if Rudkin n co told him he could not select players currently at the club due to cash issues. My thoughts on this window is the higher ups think we are going up and are against splashing the cash.

Hmm maybe a good way to up the atmosphere when we are just playing it around the back is to start chanting ole, ole, ole. Would distract from any boredom and wind up the oppo team.

Could just be a veiled misdirect to the club hierarchy to do with transfers make comments of leaving coming towards the end of the transfer window with our best player linked elsewhere but couch it in terms of the atmosphere at the ground, which has been the same all season. They will not want to piss him off, he gets to keep his players.
