I do not think he is the future here but hopefully he can prove me wrong by getting a brace this weekend and start banging them in between now and the end of the season, I'd gladly eat humble pie if he could do that.
  2. Legend, him, Vardy and Ulloa, what a strike force that was.

Found this channel, a bit like Minty comedic arts but more American....
  4. Ipswich and Southampton will both win, we need to get back to winning ways next weekend, the FA cup game is a game we should give some fringe players a chance in, can't have our first team losing three in a row.
  5. Whatever Pearson built that Bodgers removed should be brought back me thinks
  6. Considering how fast he turned us around, I think he is pretty damn good, real test will come next season, if he is still here though.
  7. Him and Mav are the least of our problems, think both are good enough, defence and the central striker role are the things that need upgrading in the summer.
  8. Ricardo, Winks and KDH are still a Prem quality midfield in my opinion.
  9. I think we will still go up, but the defence and strike force are not Prem quality, we will need to be very good and careful with players coming in, we can't afford passengers so anyone coming in has to be capable of taking a first team spot and keeping it, no buying players to pad the squad out.
  10. Ah, unemotional rants, my speciality
  11. Personally for me, as I've said before, him and Nacho are both about the same ability, just that Nacho runs on confidence and can be lazy, was not surprised no Prem team came in to carry them off. Vardy, after a decade of service and being probably one of the best strikers the clubs ever had in its history is in decline but he can still be the equal of the other two previously mentioned when not injured. Cannon, need to see more of but has looked decent thus far. If we go up, we will not be playing against defences as porous as those in this league. From what I remember of Daka playing in the Prem was he was easily out muscled and his decision making was suspect, seems a nice lad but personally I do not think he is the future here, saying that, his first goal last night should have stood, poor officiating, shocking miss but we should have been two up.
  12. Think the problem with VAR is, it is officiated by jobs worth incompetents, not the tech that's wrong. Keeps shit refs in a job, because if it worked perfectly they'd be gone.
  13. This team still has a soft underbelly, real pressure and they get turned over but we've not had any steel for a couple seasons now. It's probably the reason Spurs win nought, having nice, technically gifted players will only get you so far, you need the odd awkward sod in the team, someone the players can lean on and be geed up by on the pitch when things start going wrong or get chewed out by if that is what is needed. Either that or enough money to buy the very best players going and enough of them for three teams so you can rotate them
  14. Just seen the highlights, the officiating was piss poor.
  15. Came across this, so sad so many of them have passed on
  16. Never, never will I back Dull, I'd sooner be on a lads night out with Boris and Sunak whilst wearing Cov shirts
  17. For some reason I thought it was the Man City game, we lost soooo many games last season, my memory just greyed out mostly. From what I remember, he played a game and was doing well but was subbed off and we conceded. He mostly did not stray far though, so could not be got at in his one good game that I remember. Of course I could have nodded off and dreamt he played one good game
  18. The only match I remember him playing well last season was against Man City at home, though our defence last season was a shambolic mess all round. His main failing is his complete lack of pace, I think even Soumare could out pace him.
  19. A strange one but still a car and an iconic one at that.
  20. Still remember that day, awesome stuff, legendary for our first ever win at Wembley, taking us up at Derby's expense and boy were their fans pissed. Remember one trying to get off a coach but being held back, wanting to fight everyone in a car park down below us outside Wembley and being laughed at XD

Watched this again last night, have the special edition twin pack DVD, still is an absolute classic with a style that has long since passed. Have a fair few other anime movies from back then, Wicked City, Demon City, Akira, Ghost in the Shell and some I'm still looking to get as I've not seen them in thirty odd years.
  22. We did not strengthen, but we kept an important player so a neutral window for me.
  23. We need a bit of a rebuild, players we have been trying to offload for a few seasons now should just be let go, doubt they want to put the effort in on reduced wages.

Jog on, do not like my opinion ignore me, in my opinion he is not that good a player, you go and buy a VHS to see how it should be done.
  25. I'd say it is pretty strong, just the teams that came down are no pushovers at this level and Ipswich are a good team with momentum. More matches too.
