Yeah there was on Churchgate and then one in Dominoes toys for a bit.

The west has let Ukraine down for longer than this war. However, I personally believe our response to this part of the conflict has been fairly good. Nonetheless, I’d argue Obama appeased Putin and Russia, as did much of the world and us, up to probably 2022. To be fair to Biden he has always been consistent in his thoughts and actions towards Russia and Putin- see his vice presidency.

I did 4 miles this morning(set off at 6am) and whilst very cold it was very runnable around Western Park this morning. -

Just have some jelly beans near the end, or if you’re near a Holland and Barrett they’ll sell some sort of running gel. -
Many covenants have prevented pubs in those areas. Plus (historically) the built environment of those areas does not reflect the type of place that would have had pubs.

I have always believed it was a mistake moving the training ground outside of the city. But the decision to host u21s/u18s games away from a central location, is a frustrating symptom of this. My first games were family football, as I’m sure a lot of people’s were. Going to those games do make a difference to supporting your local team, especially when your family aren’t football fans. I’ve now had a season ticket for 20 years.

Herefordshire is very nice and somewhere I could end up living in the future.

That front three took us down. Stupid making comparisons. -
So Vardy probably will never score at Old Trafford.

Society needs to become healthier. Public health is such an important tool to help protect the NHS against preventable disease action. Of course certain job roles will hit the headlines, costing the NHS‘unnecessary money’ but those who have allowed private sector health to flourish need to be questioned. They drive the rate up for the talent within the system. There needs to be a cap on those moonlighting in both sectors.

When you don’t have much money, working hard and getting an education is a step to legitimising your voice. Trump never had to bother because he was born rich. I think of my relatives, all immigrants to America, one who was known as the grandfather of magnetic reconnection and fundamentally feel for them. It scares me the overall influence that trump could allow someone like RFK junior on the world. It frustrates me that people belittle a good education.

One positive is that our own Prime Minister had the foresight to build relationships with Trump’s incumbent crew- even praised by Farage. The biggest worry is Putin and we would have a President who is in his pocket. I can’t look past that. I don’t really care about domestic America because it’s none of my business.

Where’s the confirmation from? The only thing I can see is that Sainsbury’s is confirming a price match with Aldi.

He’s not good enough to make the squad when they have enough fit players.

And on the pitch Drinkwater was a far better player.

Had a lot of chilli oil on my pizza at Peter Pizzeria last night and this morning has reminded me of this thread. Probably shouldn’t have had the Bombay bites a few hours later on the way home too.

Well done to Kettering. That’s what football is about, not a 1-1 draw away to Ipswich.

I don’t understand how you can claim Harris is incompetent? Without justification.
-
There was contact with Maresca when we were still in the Prem, after the initial sacking of Rodgers but he wanted to see through the treble at Man City.
-
Yes I know. Hence my question.
-
Can you elaborate on why you think Harris is incompetent? I personally don’t think you can.

Your reasoning is outrageous. Fundamentally a country is allowed the right to self-determination, those countries have the right to choose to join NATO, not be dictated to by an autocrat who has eroded his country’s democracy. With the threat of invasion, or actual invasion. Our country, the US, the West, face an existential threat from Russia. They have meddled in and are continuing to meddle in the US and over here, undermining democracy. By effectively helping to promote candidates who are anti intellectual, by whipping up the working class over nonsense culture wars. I am a very socially conservative person but even I realise that culture war stuff should be nowhere near a salient election issue. Johnson was a cretin but his Russia response was spot on. Biden may have messed up on Gaza, however his Russia response has been outstanding. He has always recognised the threat that Putin poses. Do not side with the autocrat and do not side with the politician who admires the autocrat.

Seen a few ticking it on untappd. Lager isn’t my cup of tea but I’m sure it’ll be excellent if Mill Hill are behind it.
