  1. Okay well I thought my post was pretty reasonable. Like I said it’s difficult to not make it seem like a copy and paste piece. Good luck with the rest of your blogs.
  2. Well we would have stayed up with him in goal, saying that we would have stayed up with Iversen in goal. Nonetheless, we have signed one of the best young keepers in the world(I really believe that).
  3. 4 in 5 now, good for him. 5 million quid replacement for Mitrovic!
  4. I thought the history bit seemed a bit copy and paste, which it’s difficult to not make it seem, plus the lists. However, I enjoyed your bit on the experience you had and the interview with a fan.
  5. I know, it’s just made me realise how stupid we’re all gonna get when the kids are reading out of AI textbooks
  6. No it’s that extra time of 5/7 minutes on top of Dulverton Road. It’s a bit longer but if you wanted a guaranteed space.
  7. Yes I thought that too, probably same with the penalty!
  8. I mean the first name on the list wasn’t born in Leicester, Ghandi never came to Leicester, plus Uni of Leicester was established in 1921.
  9. I’d probably say park in the Western Park area, there’s no parking restrictions and it’s only 5/7 minutes walk to Dulverton Road.
  10. Still never seen him hit the ball cleanly, even his second goal wasn’t great technique. But I really enjoy him trying to do some outrageous stuff, whilst also looking like he is enjoying playing for the club himself.
  11. He’s a good passer and was signed by Maresca. Guardiola was always complimentary of Coady, not to the level of wanting to sign him though.
  12. If I knew I had to leave on 80 minutes, I wouldn’t go to the match. However, it’s obvious this is not the cause of the mass exodus, instead beating the traffic has become part of the match experience.
  13. Did the same last night, probably my favourite new non-limited series of the last 18 months.
  14. You can get a free Guinness there with the MIXR app at the moment. Their pricing is ridiculous, had an Innis and Gunn ‘Mangoes on the run’ for over 7 quid. They do dynamic pricing.
  15. He’s not my cup of tea but I hope he’s doing alright since his wife passed away.
  16. Went to Port and Nata in St Martins. Empty but authentic. As someone who collects port it was fun to see over four options on the menu. However, disappointed that the four Vinho Verde wines equated to one in reality. I’d recommend it still.
  17. I wouldn’t bother with it, unless you like a disco on a Monday afternoon.
  18. Bar one or two, all those venues are very different. Certainly won’t be boring.
  19. I have never been guided by Vickey re quality of player and so on, he’s practically untouchable regarding South American football culture and I love listening to him speak, however like most he gets his player assessments wrong on a regular basis.
  20. I think it’s very good on matchday (Kings Head), I don’t find it bland but could understand your reaction on certain days in the week. As for real ale, Kings Head and Salmon are the same pub essentially and with a couple of landlord changes at the salmon, I would say the Kings Head marginally keeps its beer better.
  21. What didn’t you like about the kings head out of interest? The Hind keeps their cask well, they had four to choose from.
  22. If you’re at Hotel Brooklyn for a drink, could you not go to the Kings Head, it’s about a 7/8 minute walk.
  23. For me the main disappointment regarding Nelson is that he’s not gone out on loan this season. It’s instinct rather than any sort of thorough assessment but I believe he is the only one out of three that could slot into our side at the moment, albeit he wouldn’t be as good as Vestegaard/Faes currently . Our strength in depth at centre back, clearly points to the necessity of a loan this season. Obviously I may have a different opinion had the injuries not hit Braybrooke and Alves. For Braybrooke, I think he has the ability to play Winks’ role but I think we underestimate how street wise his(Winks) play is at times, something that I think he(Braybrooke) could do with a loan to somewhere in league one. Alves, you’re right regarding the hype, I remember pre going for a night out in January 2022, making my mates watch Bournemouth vs Leicester U18s just so we could watch Alves, I think we scored 4? that night. However, every time I see him, I’m not sure where he fits into men’s football. Strange statement I know but perhaps until he finds his feet, he won’t be completely accommodated into the side. I think perhaps a flexible role on the left of a front three but that’s just lazy thinking on my part.
  24. Apparently Lars Hirschfield is going to be brought out onto the pitch at half time by the Birch.
  25. Loved that shirt.
