Probably in the same way as you need permission to talk to a player i.e. yes but seemingly there's nothing to stop you, or someone working on your behalf, getting in touch with their agent to gauge what the player's hypothetical response would be to this hypothetical offer

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Guest replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Trying to make this the year I start making a dent in my backlog so in that spirit, and with the sequel on its way and previewing well, I am currently (I believe) about halfway through Death Stranding. Very much an acquired taste but I'm having a lovely time with it. I reckon it's the sort of game you either immediately, irreversibly dislike or steadily grow to really love and I think I may well be in the latter camp. -

I've never followed Final Fantasy very closely - what was the general reaction to the shift away from turn-based combat? I assume it was done because they thought it was limiting their audience but between Baldur's Gate, Persona and now Clair Obscur (are we meant to call it that or Expedition 33?) there seems ample evidence that games with turn-based combat can be enormously popular and successful -
Unfortunately there's never been any indication he is going to do that. It's like saying I'm happy for us to give Danny Ward a new contract and the no.1 shirt as long as he stops being so shit

We could definitely appoint a worse manager than Wilder but we would really struggle to appoint a bigger bellend and it's a good few years now since he last did anything particularly impressive, so my feelings would be mixed
-
Sounds good, I wonder if he's done anything else more recently than that
-
I don't necessarily disagree but of the permanent appointments made under the current ownership only Ranieri didn't have recent coaching experience in the UK, so it seems reasonable to conclude that it's something they value whether we agree with that or not
-
Seems like he ticks too many of the boxes not to be under serious consideration - recent domestic experience, plays the sort of football KP prefer, big enough reputation for him to be on their radar and, perhaps most importantly, out of work

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")
Guest replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
Keep unless we get a silly offer imo. Without knowing what sort of shape Fatawu is going to be in, it's difficult to argue he's not our best forward at the moment and we know he's more than capable at Championship level -
I don't think he did, did he? They've got different surnames for one thing. For another, MON has done about five months of club management in the last decade so I don't think there's any way anyone could be confident of his ability to get us promoted

For the avoidance of doubt, that post was made-up bollocks in the ITK "passing on what I've heard" style that has become so popular
-
Don't shoot the messenger but I've got a VERY well-placed source at the club who's told me we've offered someone the job - needless to say I won't be telling you who it is. Well-liked by some key figures on the board but others not so keen, unless they are. Just passing on what I've heard in a way that's really vague and non-committal, which obviously it needs to be in order to protect my source.

Captain and played basically every game he was available for - missed a few through injury shortly before they sold him because they were desperate for money. A fringe player he definitely was not.
-
Probably not really what he'd be there to do though, despite what the tweet says. As an understudy to/pre-emptive replacement for Damsgaard it might make sense given Carvalho doesn't seem to have made any real impact there

It's a nonsense rehash of what was a nonsense rumour in the first place

Feel for Ange to an extent but I think Frank is a better and more adaptable manager than him and is more likely to be able to build upon the success of winning a trophy. Whenever a successful and/or trophy-winning manager gets sacked you always get people acting like it somehow wipes out that success - they do actually still get to be Europa League winners, Ange doesn't take it with him in the same way we didn't have to cash in our Premier League or FA Cup to sack Ranieri and Rodgers. It's a logical rather than emotional decision which I get doesn't feel good because logic is not the reason people love football.
-
Ah fair enough, I know we'd been in talks with him during the second half of that season but didn't remember seeing anything about an agreement being reached until it became official. Prime example of why ineffectual DoF + giving manager too much influence over squad building = big problem.
-
His new contract was announced after Enzo had already left. The second we thought there was any danger whatsoever of Enzo not being here, that contract offer should have been in the shredder.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Guest replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
It absolutely is. His lack of athleticism means there's no danger of him outrunning anyone so might as well make the most of it, let them come to him instead and then hit the deck like a sack of shit. Not necessarily a bad trick to have up your sleeve but unfortunately it's more or less the only one he has. -
Assuming you mean Reijnders, he's much more of an attack-minded player than Rodri so I don't expect they're really going to be competing for the same spot. KDB is gone and Bernardo, Gundogan and Kovacic are all in their 30s (and looked about twice as old for much of last season) with the first two of those out of contract next year. I wouldn't agree it's solely a Club World Cup signing at all.
-
True and no doubt that's played a major part in their decision-making process
-
Yeah Areola is not very good, camera save merchant. They are supposedly interested in Ramsdale who in my totally unbiased opinion is a worse goalkeeper than Hermansen and I presume would cost at least as much, likely more.
-
Not a kit but the first Premier League ball of the post-Nike era for people who care about things like that
-
People seemingly deciding to answer a different question to the one that they were asked i.e. who they think it will be rather than who they want it to be, which does sort of defeat the point of the poll
