I'm not saying he's blameless and don't think he's the right man for the job especially at prem level. Finance He's not an accountant and I guess very few if any DoF's are accountants and work to a budget given to them. Transfers. Unless a stupid fee he's lead by what the manager see's in the player going out. But also I would say Top says yes or no when big fees are concerned. Signings. Lead by the recruitment team and manager as to what they he wants. If your blaming the bad signings on Rudkin then he needs the credit for, vardy mahrez kante Morgan huth okazaki. Oh seeing that drinky was finished. Fofana was ****ed Mc guire was a two season wonder Oh and the 180m that put in the bank. Rudkin Top whelan and the financial director are all to blame for the whole mess this club is in. All I'm saying is Rudkin is not responsible for it all. Infact if one person is to blame for it all it's Top. Ultimately Top is the one to blame for all the wrongs in this club.
-
It is school yard bullying. Or are you saying a DoF apparently has to be a fully trained accountant ?
-
Explain his remit? If you can you must have written his contract. Not that long ago Simon Jordan was asked to explain the job of a DoF. He explained what he would expect. Then added the job is different in practically every club. It is what the owner wants them to do. None of us know exactly what his remit is we just presume what it is and expected of him. Also it's not his fault players like Youri want to run down a contract. I also doubt he has the sole say when offers come in and we refuse them. So anyway back to the original point. Please explain his remit as fact. Not what you me or anyone else thinks it is.
-
Correct to a point. He can't override the financial director or the chairman. So if this whole mess is his doing then Top needs to be first out the door for letting him get away with it.
-
We do deserve better. I just don't get why he gets all the blame. He don't solely run the club. The financial director is as much to blame. Top also needs to get his head out of his arse. Ultimately the buck stops with him. But only Rudkin gets the blame. But actually we are rotten to the core. The whole operation is fvcked. Do you really think replacing Rudkin is the wonder cure?
-
He must have been given a budget? He was also probably told to do what Rodgers wanted. From what I've been told he was not a Rodgers fan. So he was taking orders from above if true. End of the day he's not solely responsible for everything he gets the blame for on here. I'd like him gone but ffs this is school yard bullying in here.
-
And your problem is? Not going to be easy to get anyone in. A) pts deduction B) is it true you have to sell first C) why the fvck would I. None of this is solely down to Rudkin.
-
Ffs you do realise you can't force players to go. You also cant force them to sign a new contract Again just blame Rudkin ffs. Top has the say on what we will accept. No one has a say if youri wants to run his contract down and walk. Ffs you lot act your age. Rudkin ain't great but stuff he gets the blame for is ridiculous. A group of 12yo would be able to see its not all rudkins fault. TBH if we get rid and the new guy looks on here he won't take it. Why would you knowing the fans will blame you for everything. Oh yes a really stupid pay packet.
-
I won't. I was getting dog's abuse on here after Xmas for saying we would stay up and supporting NP. Even Wenger said about Xmas that we would stay up. But nothing changes on here. Once one or two get an opinion on something it goes viral. Just look at Rudkin and no I don't support him or want him at the club. But not everything is his fault yet so many think it is. Our financial mess is not down to him. But the way some go on it's totally his fault.
-
Ffs give it up. Vichai was the man that pulled the trigger. If rudkin did the deed it was under instruction form the top. Rudkin would have had no say in the matter. Only Top could change his dad's mind as in Pearson sacked no he's not. People need to stop making shit up about Rudkin. He ain't no good that don't mean every little thing wrong at the club is his fault.
-
We played it at the end of the great escape to keep us up. We didn't have Kante then. I'm not talking about winning the league just staying up to sort our financial fvck up out.
-
It don't matter neither will work for us in the prem as we don't have the quality of player to make it work. But we do know a more direct style works without the need to spend hundreds of millions on it to work. We need to be solid well marshaled with everyone knowing what to do

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
sylofox replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
Well looks like I'll be watching shrek argyle this season. Keep me posted on all things LCFC once the season starts please -
That really was a whoooooosshhhhh moment for you 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 Why when we know we need the money would you block an idiot with his cheque book from bidding.
-
If we've even started looking yet.
-
MoN was sloppy seconds to look how the ended up. Forests sloppy seconds have been involved in the best two periods in our history. Now imagine 3rd time lucky. Champions league it is then 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹

We will be over the maximum 3 Yr spend. Having money won't get us out of that one. The minute we spend we will be in breach again. Unless we sell some first. Absolutely spot on. I'd take our 2016 style over bodgers and Enzo ball every day of the week and twice on a Saturday. I want to be entertained not fvcking bored to death watching vesty the keeper and faes making 600 passes between themselves every game. Even when we had the opportunity in games to break at pace and put the opposition under pressure we very rarely did. No let the opposition fall back built two lines of four while vesty and Co make 200 passes on the edge of our own box. Then oh no we can't break them down. All due to the way we play. Fvcking awful slow boring shite.

https://the72.co.uk/2024/06/05/west-brom-corberan-investment-leicester-link/ If that blows him away what will Seagrave do to him.
-
Infrastructure don't count on psr ffp. But our owners are not squeaky clean. Yes under Vichai I trusted them now not so sure. Vichai's dream was the fa cup. Then expansion. First was Seagrave then the stadium. First part done. But since his passing KP has changed the family don't rule it now Vichai has gone. Very much the king is dead. Do the shareholders trust Top like they did his dad. On his showing with us I would say No. Hence why he is not chairman of KP now.
-
You mean if KP had walked at the end of last season then? Who knows but you would like to think no one would be paying x amount of players way above what the club could generate. You don't become a billionaire giving it away. We are already in the poo. We don't own our ground or the new training ground. KP can sell the club tomorrow but charge rent for our ground and training complexes. We ain't in a very good place now if KP pull out.
-
So Man C taking the prem to court over sponsorship rules connected to the owner. I can see this all getting very messy. Psr ffp is not fit for use. One simple rule could fix this. Any owner can fund a club to whatever they want. But in wages and transfer fee's it can't be a loan. It has to be gifted. Then a pompey can't happen. If a billionaire wants to throw it away that's up to that person. Not the prem or eufa.

As it seems we are playing the same game as Chelsea and man c probably founder members.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
sylofox replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
It would put £90m in our bank for end of psr ffp financial year meaning we would not fail it. Then pay it back. I would guess it would not comply with the rules as we are not Chelsea. But it was said as a joke. -

So you think KP would allow us to bankrupt our sister club. -

Can't we just sell KDH to OHL for £90m now. Then buy him back for £90m in July. After all Chelsea can sell themselves a hotel.
