He did but he shouldn't have been stood there. Vestergaard clearly wasn't passing to Casadei and he basically just blocked off Vestergaards passing lane. If a Sunderland player had took up that position and blocked the pass, it would have been applauded 🤣

Perfect example of this is when he was in the way of Vestergaard passing forward and it bounced off him for a throw. Vester went mad at him and rightly so as he should never have been stood there as there is now way Vester would give him the ball in that position with 2 men on his back.

Need to sharpen up 2nd half if we are going to win this. We've got lucky with Mads saving us a few times and that should have been a pen. Nacho crap and needs taking off before he's sent off and we need to stop being so sloppy in possession. Fair play to Sunderland though, they are pressing us well, stopping us playing and looking very dangerous themselves. No doubt Enzo will make tweaks as he won't be happy with that 1st half

If we won 35 that's 105 points. That leaves 11 games and lets be honest, it's highly unlikely we lose that many games. Burnley only lost 3. I don't think we will lose more than 5. So let's say 35 wins and 6 draws would be 111 points. Would be nice but this is based on our current form and we need to hope that key players like Winks don't get injured. Any injured to Justin or Ricardo could also be a huge problem with Doyle being out but i still feel we have a very good chance of beating Reading's record. Whilst Brendan liked to use injuries as an excuse, Enzo seems to find solutions when we have had Injuries.

Jeez that really hits home. Fantastic work from Norwich and like others have said, all clubs should be doing more to highlight this.

I'd never met an Ipswich fan until there was one in my local tesco (I live in Chorley) on Saturday evening. I was in there with my Leicester top on after we'd beat Stoke and she was in there with her Ipswich shirt on after they'd beat Preston.

Said the same thing to my nephew. Ridiculous to cause such delays, especially as all the Preston fans were also trying to get to the motorway. They could have easily just done the works after 11.30pm when the traffic would have cleared. It often feels like the council try to make it as difficult as possible for road users. If only we had a public transport system that was reliable and affordable 🙄

I don't think too many on here (including me) were overly excited when we signed Winks but he's been far better than I could have imagined. As others have said, he's pivotal to our system and I can't help feel we may have done a bit better against Liverpool had he played but totally understand resting him was the right call. The gulf in class is huge between prem and championship as we know but Winks is definitely one that wouldn't be out of place in the Premier league. We know he's played before at spurs but didn't get much game time recently but he's really hit the ground running here..

First game I've been to this season and was happy with that. I live near Preston and work with a few Preston fans who I've made it clear to that they are easily the worst team we've played this season. The time wasting from minute one was hideous to watch and the ref did nothing to stop it. Said at the game that them tactics often come back to bite you on the arse and so it proved as our class shone through 2nd half. The most pleasing part is we seem to be improving each game and even in games like today when it can be frustrating playing against 11 behind the ball, we were patient and Enzo tweaked things at ht to help us break them down. Really enjoyable watching us at the moment and it'll be exciting to see how we continue to improve and develop under Enzo.

Even though the u21s lost 7-1 to Wigan, Wanya was stand out player in that game. Even the Wigan fans I was sat with were impressed with him. He's clearly got a lot of ability and is too good for u21 football now but there could be question marks over his attitude given what Maresca has said about him.

Maybe to protect Ricardo and Justin we will need to rotate them both which would mean us potentially starting Hamza at right back every game. Can Ricardo be as influential playing from the left than the right? Could Hamza play left back? Hopefully Enzo has the answers. I don't think we need to panic just yet, but given our recent history with injuries, I'd start to worry if any other key players were to pick up injuries, especially the full backs or Winks

Got an email from the club today saying anyone with booking history points can go. First time I've seen this in years where you can actually get tickets without a membership. Must be struggling to sell tickets for midweek games
