If he doesn't clatter KDH then we score. It's as stonewall a pen as you'll see all season. No attempt to play the ball and every attempt made to stop KDH from scoring -
Their loss will be our gain. I find it hard to believe that Ghana has 2 right wingers better than Fatawu.
-
We've had a great month and a draw before ko today wouldn't have been a bad result but conceding a last minute equaliser is a kick in the nuts and a bit demoralising for both the fans and players. My point is that we need to move on quickly and forget about it by beating Cardiff. We have a run of games now against teams we should comfortably beat before we play Ipswich again so we need to take advantage and put ourselves even further ahead of the chasing pack
-
Yep but we just need to keep the pace going. Of course we can afford to drop some points but why should we? We are by far the best team in this division so we should be going full throttle to win every game. Of course we will drop points between now and the end of the season but we have a run of games now before we play Ipswich again, against teams we should be beating comfortably

Ipswich (A) 1 - 1 - Boxing Day - Post-Match Thread

Was strange to take them both off and not take at least one of the wingers off. Feel like we need another 8 in Jan as we lack when we don't have Wilf or KDH -

100% wasn't a pen in the first half, clearly won the ball. The Coady one didn't hit his hand and the KDH was the most stonewall pen you'll see all season. Pathetic that the ref couldn't get himself into a position to see it.. -
Cant be dropping anymore points, we don't want to give any hope to the chasing pack. Be a few changes no doubt but the complacency shown 2nd half tonight needs stamping out.

No control 2nd half which is unlike us. The pen not given on KDH was a huge point of the game and the game would have been finished if that was given and we scored. Utterly disgusting goal by Ipswich but can't say we deserved to win so a point will have to do -
Meslier is a clown. We know full well previously how having a shit keeper can be a huge problem. He could Leeds undoing this season unless they get a new keeper in Jan

Rotherham (H) 3-0 - 23 Dec - Post-Match Thread
jayfox26 replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
That's obscene. I knew the Casadei goal was good but it's only when you see it through from the start that you really see how ridiculously good it is. Whilst Rotherham are utterly abysmal, there is no denying how good that goal is yet it hasn't been spoken about at all in the media that I've seen. If that was Man City scoring that goal, the media would be in full on wank fest -
Sorry I only meant championship not league 1. Yeh league one often gets a few teams getting high points tallys
-
If the 2nd half of the season goes similar to the 1st half, the top 4 could all reach 90 points. Bet that has never happened before

Has anyone ever had this amount of points at the half way point before? -

Wonderful goal. We have become masters of dinked crosses from the byline
-
I take it back. Bloody love Rotherham. To be fair we made a meal of the away game
-
Rotherham have no business playing at this level. Absolutely garbage

It's the kind of game where Rotherham will end up with no cards and we'll have about 6 booked. When Hugill went down to stop our momentum was an absolute joke -
Fatawu gets booked for nothing and Winks is deliberately pulled back after going past his man and no yellow. The inconsistencies are incredible. All refs make mistakes and miss things but I just don't understand how they consistently get it wrong when it comes to booking players. Very odd
-
I can't stand Hugill. Horrible, cheating, little rat.
-
Don't think we had the finances to get Piroe at the time. I mean we could pick apart every single transfer we make and say we should have signed this player or that player. Unfortunately it's not football manager and we can't just sign whoever we want, whenever we want.
-
Could have been worse, could have spent £10m on Ross Stewart.
-
Enzo said the club knew he had an injury but he's been signed as a long term investment as he's young and has a lot of potential. Fortunately we haven't needed him as we've has Iheancho and Vardy and more recently Daka but that will change after Rotherham when we lose Daka and Iheanacho for a month. Nobody really knows whether Cannon will be a good signing or not but no point slating the club or the player until we've actually seen what he can do. Worst case scenario long term if he isn't good enough is we sell him and we won't lose a great deal as we didn't pay that much for him. Of course we could have waited until he got over his injury before we signed him but then many other teams may have wanted him and/or Everton may have upped his asking price.

Wanya Marcal signs new contract until 2026
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I watched him when we got spanked 7-1 by Wigan in the efl trophy and he was by far the best player on the pitch despite us getting hammered. Shame he didn't have any decent players around him as he caused Wigan all sorts of problems and even my mates who were all Wigan fans all commented on how good he looked. Very skilful and isn't afraid to run at defenders but is probably just a bit raw at the moment and could benefit from a loan to get more game time as he already has a few players ahead of him at the moment when everyone is fit. -
I'd prefer an Ipswich win or a draw. The gap to 3rd place is the biggest factor and I feel Leeds have more chance to motor in the 2nd half of the season than Ipswich. Us, Leeds and Southampton will all have more money available to strengthen in Jan as well but there is also the concern that players at these clubs could attract interest from prem clubs in Jan.
