  1. You may be right, but i just dont think its right that any of our fans should sit back and just allow the club to burn. Maybe protests wont make him sell the club, but if every single fan keeps buying tickets and turning up clapping, that certainly wont help make any changes at the club. It is also worth noting that after every protest, Top has come out and either done an interview or announced board changes. I dont think that's coincidence, so I believe he is aware of the discontent amongst fans and I believe he is aware of the protests. As I said earlier, how long could someone continue running a club if 20k plus people were hounding him out every match?
  2. We need Rodgers back to play the part of David Brent.
  3. It might not be possible to force him out but it becomes easier if the whole fanbase turns on him and makes it toxic. He currently thinks that many of the fans are happy with him because they pay for their tickets, and they quietly sit in the stadium while the club burns. If we had 20,000+ people protesting against him every match, how long do you think it would be before he starts to question if he needs to consider selling the club. Hes had it too easy for too long from our fans. You only need to go on social media to see he still has people that support him and don't want him to leave.
  4. Some are complicit by being passive and not doing anything to try and force Top out. Everybody should be joining in the protests. And your comment about "not a single fan is happy with Top" is sadly untrue. There are many that still support him and some that have physically/verbally attacked other fans who have tried to show their frustrations within the stadium.
  5. Losing in football is part of the game. Relegation, especially for teams like ours, is part of the game (not necessarily to the third tier) The genuine fear that our club could be extinct in the next 6-12 months is utterly horrifying. The fact that many of our fans seem happy to watch the club burn under Tops ownership is unfathomable. There is genuinely nothing to like about this club right now. The owner The board The players Many of the fans All complicit in the absolute destruction of the club so many of us love. Sad.
  6. Pretty much sums up the mentality of the squad. PL wages, believe they should be in the PL but put in national league performances every week. Utterly disgusting group of players!
  7. I said weeks ago that Sheff Wed will be the only team that finishes below us. Oxford are absolutely dreadful but their players actually care, work hard and give 100%, something that is sadly lacking in our players. You need to fight in a relegation battle and these players have zero fight in them.
  8. Still wouldn't be something for us to concern ourselves with.
  9. Just to add some context to this, as many seem to have missed the joke, this post has been copied from the original owner poll from 2023. @Finnegan posted this on that poll in 2023, which at that point wasn't a completely unreasonable view. Fast forward 3 years and im sure @Finnegan and many others have changed their viewpoint.
  10. I genuinely dont see how any new owner could be worse. I understand your point that the club may not be attractive in the state its in, but there is nothing us as fans can do about that. Ultimately, the fans need to keep putting pressure on Top to get to a point where his position as owner is untenable. If he has to sell the club for a loss then so be it, not our problem and the these problems are all of his own making. Its genuinely unfathomable for anyone to want him to stay, regardless of whether or not we have a queue of people wanting to buy us.
  11. We ain't finishing 4th bottom. Only Sheff Wed will finish below this absolute mess
  12. 100%. Rodgers left in 2023 and 3 years on, his stench is still fully ingrained in the club. He inherited a good squad and a club that had become an established prem team, had initial success with said squad but then spent way too much, bloated the wage bill and ultimately left the disaster we are seeing now. The financial as well as culture issues, deep rooted within the club can be traced back to him. I genuinely despise him, which in some ways is a mad thing to say about the manager that won us our first ever fa cup.
  13. Part of me feels he fully deserves a stint in league one but then the realisation hits that he would take up pretty much all of our wage allowance for that league. If any team in the history of football is going to have a player on 90k a week in league one, its definitely us.
  14. Robin S: "Actions speak louder than words"
  15. Ill start with Jake Bugg: "I swear to god I've seen it all, nothing shocks me anymore" Eminem: "So be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it" Terry Jacks: "We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in league one"
  16. Mind boggling.
  17. They'll argue that its because they always get shot down and ridiculed, when the reality is, they cant form any kind of argument as to why he should stay other than "we won the league and fa cup" and "be careful what you wish for". This place is great for debate and argument over LCFC matters and I always like to hear differing views to my own, however im still yet to have anyone give me a good argument as to why Top should stay.
  18. 3 years ago a similar poll was put on and it was quite heavily in favour of Top staying. Of course, a lot has happened since then.
  19. Still yet to have any reasonable argument for this.
  20. Out of interest, if we do get relegated, will the KPFC fans still say "we were in league one once". Could also argue that "be careful what you wish for" could also become obsolete, as im pretty sure no LCFC fan wished for relegation to the 3rd tier.
  21. Not to mention Kristiansen Will continue his good form on the treatment table on a premier league wage, as no team will want him with his injury record. Having said that he'll make a miraculous recovery in the summer, get a move and never be injured again in his career
  22. Fck off King Power, fck off Top, fck off Rudkin.
  23. Aside from the fact we haven't had a decent striker in our squad all season, it's absolutely pathetic that we also haven't got a decent full back on either side other than an untested Aluko. Ricardo is completely finished, Thomas is nowhere near championship standard and Kristiansen is made of paper. I feel that having poor full backs this season has massively impacted our play at both ends of the field, as none of our full backs can defend and none of them are particularly good at getting forward to support the wingers, which i personally feel has contributed to Fatawu and Mavididi's poor form for large parts of the season. Fatawu and Mavididi have been slated for not working hard enough and tracking back, which is fair to an extent, but then you could argue they wouldn't need to do as much defensively if we had competent full backs. Teams target us by launching crosses into the box as they know its a weakness we have, but how often do you see our wingers putting crosses into the box, and more important how often do we actually have players running into the box to try and get on the end of a cross if we actually did put one in? The championship is so poor and i cant think of a single team that has beaten us this season where I've gone, wow they are a good side and played us off the park. Other than Sheff Wed, we must be the easiest team to play against as every goal we concede is just utter shite and completely preventable with a bit more effort and will to stop the opposition scoring.
  24. Yeh we got an extra 24 hours rest on Norwich before that game and they didnt even get out of 2nd gear to beat us comfortably. No matter what advantages we may get in a game, we wont make the most of it.
