Soumare and Monga are both injured and probably out until after christmas and Ramsey is out for a while. Doubt Ricardo will play 2 games in a week so more like Aluko or Hamza play right back. Souttar also won't be in the squad until the new year.

I think we just need to get over the price we paid for him and back the lad. His passion and desire cannot be questioned and that is absolutely what we need from our players right now rather than the lazy toss bags like Faes and Winks. Him and James is the way forward for our midfield 2.

I could never support another team or have the same passion that I do for Leicester. I've been to many other football matches in my life with my mates etc, been to many Bolton games and Chorley as they are my local teams but it's just never the same. Sitting in a stadium watching another team score a goal might make me break out into a mild applause but not like the sheer joy when leicester score. Having said that, I don't have the same enjoyment seeing leicester score as I once did. A combination of being a miserable bastard and the club being utterly disgusting!

I was originally responding to someone who said we should play counter attacking football. My point is, you can't counter attack teams that park the bus. I agree we need to improve our attacking play and play faster, but the original comment suggested that Fatawu is only successful in a counter attacking team which is utter nonsense

Get him gone in Jan. He can leave on a free for me. It's far more damaging having him in the squad. Rather just play Fran Vietes at centre back.

Easy to say that the first half was the worst thing about today but the worst thing was the lack of boos in the stadium. The 2nd half performance does not excuse the fact we've lost at home to a poor side and the first half is up there with probably the most disgusting, unprofessional performances I've ever seen. I don't rate Marti but the players are 100% to blame for that first half. That first goal would be embarrassing for my little 4 year old lads team to concede, never mind a team of apparent professionals earning millions a year. Disgusting!

I think you're right sadly. We still have the happy clappers who wouldn't dare say a bad word about Top or the board and then there are people like me that just don't care anymore. If I didn't have a wife and 2 kids and other things to occupy my time, I probably would get involved but I'm past caring, and that really saddens me. I also live in the north West so it's not easy logistically and working around the kids and work to get involved. My limited spare time I have is just spent moaning on here unfortunately

We didn't exactly counter under Enzo when Fatawu was fantastic. We just had a better tactical system to work with as well as a few better players around him like Vardy and Dewsbury Hall

Aside from the Mavididi Stoke shite, what on earth is he on about us hanging onto Vardy, Fuchs, Morgan too long cos they left on frees. Morgan retired and Vardy is our greatest ever player and we didn't hang onto Fuchs too long, he was a legend for us. The only outlier in that argument is Tielemans who we absolutely should have made money on.

One thing that is a problem, and always has been under Top and his board is the lack of forward planning. Regardless of how well/bad our manager may be doing at any given time, we should always have an idea of who our next manager would be. Like when Enzo left, we had no contingency plan. If we sacked Marti tomorrow, we wouldn't have a plan in place to look for a long term replacement, we'd just hire someone like Russell Martin. Same could be said for player recruitment. We just seem to scattergun, with no real plan or long term contingency. If we sold Fatawu in Jan, we should have a list of 3 or 4 good replacements. Guaranteed we have none. We lost our greatest ever player last summer and did we have any kind of plan to replace him? Absolutely not. I know finances can be an issue with our player recruitment but a decent scouting set up could have contingencies in place for all eventualities and finances. Bottom line is, we don't have any kind of planning at the club and just try to wing it
