  1. You really shouldn’t be so sure when you don’t know how the international broadcasts work. Good we’re all on the same side here, though.
  2. I saw the protest on television in NYC as did anyone across America watching on CBS Sports Network or Paramount+. The match commentator also spoke about the protest and was very aware of what was going on.
  3. Might have been in town to see his mate Balague so decided to catch some football and try one of the sausage and cheese rolls they have near the owner’s box.
  4. I see what you did there 😂
  5. This does look like a possibility with relegation, cannot see how we cover all of our overhead in that scenario.
  6. Thank goodness, it’s an awful song.
  7. It certainly may not be. But we’re only heading in one direction with the current guy.
  8. Now’s let’s get back on track and focus on who’s currently running this club into the ground.
  9. Cambiasso was the type of shrewd signing that we made during the Pearson era. He was incredible and played a huge role in our survival. However, it’s ridiculous how one story about Cambiasso looking at our remaining fixtures over lunch and trying to add up where we’d get our points has turned into him masterminding the Great Escape. I haven’t double-checked the stats but I’m fairly certain that only Leicester City and Arsenal completed that Premier League season without losing a league game by more than two goals. We finished the season in 14th place, a fantastic result for that squad. Pearson was an excellent manager and squad-builder for us— even the slightest insinuation that he wasn’t is utterly farcical.
  10. Should Wednesday fans have waited to protest Chansiri until he was forced to sell? The sale of an entity the size of Leicester City Football Club won’t suddenly happen in a week. It will take months, at a minimum, to work out any kind of deal. In the meantime, supporters try to do what they can to hasten the start of that process and to express dissatisfaction with how the owner is handling our club.
  11. Completely agree. This effort already feels so much more aware than the previous trial runs.
  12. I’d be shocked if he ever returned. He has firsthand experience of the mess at the club.
  13. He’s a billionaire’s son.
  14. Can’t imagine how happy he is seeing the club he loves so much travel back to the south coast with 3 points after it looked so dire at halftime.
  15. The players spend their days training a resort that none of them deserve.
  16. My apologies to you all.
  17. Shame on everyone who was questioning the great Andy King earlier!
  18. Here’s another match thread where people forget that players get rotated for midweek games.
  19. With the way his signings continue to haunt us, it’s like he never left.
  20. Tbf, that was such a stupid post by the BCFC account. If we weren’t in such a horrible spot, we'd all be making fun of it.
  21. I met Deano after our relegation and he seemed to have PTSD when I mentioned Leicester to him, I’m not sure why he would put himself through that again! I don’t think he was put in a very fair position and the situation with our players had to have been much more toxic than what he was sold. Solid guy and a good manager but I’m sure he’ll have better offers where he can make more of an impact.
  22. Tbf, New York is in the midst of a historic deep freeze and all of our sidewalks have been lined with piles of ice and frozen dog excrement for almost two weeks now. Can understand not wanting to be here right now but turning down Sicily for where he is currently is insane to me.
