  1. Shinji for Gray please
  2. Moss is an ugly little toad isn't he? ****.
  3. I'm not sure playing one up front suits us, honestly. Even if its tactically better, would rather have a more withdrawn forward behind Vardy
  4. Dimmy Grays a very limited player isn't he? Lets be honest. One footed and can't / won't pass. Wouldn't mind at all if he left LCFC
  5. Aye Norwich not doing well this year. I had them as amongst the favourites to come up and all. Shame, quite like the Canaries all in all. They should never have sacked Alex Neil
  6. @Izzy Muzzett echoing what others have said, what rubbish timing, hope you are out for Christmas! But if not al least you'll have people visiting and realise how much everyone cares about you And @Finnegan@Wymeswold fox dunno what to say other than the Christmas period will be over pretty quickly. This is maybe patronising, but could going into it without preconceptions help?
  7. @HighPeakFox @somebum @Harrydc and countless other posts I'll have missed in this thread - keep your chins up during the bleak times and focus on the reality that everything passes. Not.in the sense of going away completely but if you can learn to deal with the lows more effectively, they pass by more quickly. I suffer from body dysmorphia (and as a result depression and anxiety) so these cycles happen to me as well, and certain things bring it on predictably, but there is a lot you can do to toughen your mind up. Anyone who is willing to be openminded should have a go at compassion focused therapy. Something a bit different that requires patience initially but people seem to respond very well to it. Google it.
  8. Groups A-D very weak, and E-H a lot more competitive
  9. Play an instrument / not draw like a 11 year old child / decent at football
  10. Stilton. Really like it and all, its an odd one. Bread sauce too, pigs in blankets, Baileys in coffee or tea or hot chocolate.
  11. Just when you thought the man couldn't be any more ridiculous... boom. Joke on and off the pitch
  12. horrific line-up! King sends shudders down the spine, as does Hamer and Amartey. To be fair they're playing a seriously weaker squad too so let's see!
  13. Birmingham are quite a hateable club, their fans are up there with the worst for pure vitriol and aggression towards other supporters and they don't have any humour to make up for it. To be fair there's an element of that amongst Wolves fans in my experience but Birmingham really take it to a new level. Horrible lot. Would be quite happy to see them take the plummet this year, its about time!
  14. Good. I hope Barnsley do well out of this (not the new Blackburn, Blackpool etc) because they are a likeable club, decent set of fans
  15. Have to say for a team in Man Citys position, doing well based on the riches of oil sheiks, you're still a remarkably likeable team and bunch of fans (still fairly down-to-earth). Put those red rags and the London clubs to shame. My favourite 'top 6' team by far, hope you win the PL in style as looks likely right now. Thanks for the heads-up and agree with what was said before, if we can progress in the League Cup tonight will happily take a tonking in the league
  16. Cheers, much appreciated!
  17. BUMP - any news on these two? They've been out for ages both of them!
  18. Agreed. I'm always wary of one up front at home against teams that sit deep. You really need a world class rounded striker to play that role and not sure it plays to Vardy's strengths. Hope Puel will rethink doing that
  19. Can be when the other team attacks, but I don't think you'd have come away from their 0-0 at Anfield vs West Brom saying that!
  20. What concerns me is the write-up from Saints fans, he's a decent manager for away games but struggles in home ones where the impetus is to attack. Their record at St Mary's was grim last year despite finishing 8th. We lose our good home record, we'll be in trouble. We've been consistently good at home for a number of years and its stood us in good stead. You need to be able to rely on beating the poorer teams at home. A big plus we have is the loud crowds, more shite like today and that'll soon quieten down regardless of how many big wins we rack up on our travels.
  21. They sat back and counter attacked. So yes they set up deep and defensively. They Leicestered us. What game were you watching? Don't try and ridicule me if you're going to talk shit
  22. As I said in match thread Im not sure if this is a blip or if Puel cannot play against defensive sides. If its the former ok, but I think it's the latter and we'll be seeing the return of 0-1s from the 2000s.
