Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21

No worries! I also agree re Neale. Gets about the pitch and really good in tight spaces. For a small lad he can put his foot in as well when needed. Another one to watch. You’re right on Briggs too. Needs a loan in January to showcase his abilities. I was looking forward to seeing Carr again but he wasn’t in the squad last night. This lad could be another Barnes. Only 17. -

If, like me, you watched the game on YouTube then an important note to make is that the commentator had the shirt numbers incorrectly reversed for Amartey and Gray. The giant centre half that won everything in the air and looks comfortable on the ball is Kevon Gray (and not Amartey as the commentator thought). That’s the second time in a week I’ve seen Gray play for the U21s as I was also at the Juventus game. He has impressed me on both occasions. He’s still only 18 and so looks to have a very bright future if he can keep his feet on the ground. -

If Sporting sell Gyokeres then they will have money to burn and European football to offer him. He is the perfect replacement for them. I hope we have a plan b, c, d and e.

We were linked with Bove recently. So there could be a deal to do there with Soumare.

Leicester have no plans to sell Dewsbury-Hall despite Brighton, Brentford interest Latest from Sky Sports news senior reporter Rob Dorsett... Leicester have no plans to sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in this transfer window, despite interest from Brighton and Brentford. Currently, the fee that Brighton and Brentford are prepared to pay for the 25-year-old is way short of what Leicester would want. Sky Sports News has been told it would take a bid in excess of £40m to bring Leicester to the negotiating table, and the asking price is likely to be further increased because of their inability to replace him with a player of equal calibre so late in the window. Leicester have little flexibility in the current market to add to their squad and remain in line with Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR). It's likely they would have to sell a player in order to strengthen. However, Dewsbury-Hall is not someone they want to sell. He is regarded by manager Enzo Maresca as a key part of his promotion-chasing team. The player himself also needs to be convinced that changing clubs now would be a good career move, we are told. Only clubs competing higher up in the Premier League are likely to appeal to Dewsbury-Hall, with Leicester seven points clear at the top of the Championship and expecting an immediate return to the top division.
