  1. I think he knows especially after we played Bristol City last season and he acknowledged the support
  2. I thought he came across well albeit a little bit defensive, he does remind be similar to allardyce when I watch his podcast, and I do think they’re slightly bitter with how they are branded despite having successful careers
  3. Charlton beat them last time when they were shit hot and got derailed, both are quite reactive managers. Form is probably on orients side but Charlton have been comfortably the 2nd best team in the league since about November
  4. I like both a lot, think Charlton are the favourites, orients backline is pretty awful
  5. Absolutely mental it’s only 4 years ago
  6. I do love that a player completely smashes into a post on a 50/50 and people are mostly blaming the officials over it . If they changed the rules for instant flags and we get one that’s onside people will be fuming, they genuinely can’t win
  7. Think he’ll go again definitely, imagine doug king would’ve promised him a bit of a kitty, plus simms and sheaf id expect would probably leave. He’s done a very good job with little input in the squad
  8. Men only want one thing and it’s absolutely disgusting
  9. https://x.com/afc_crewe/status/1922231244340793803?s=46&t=sf5AH1jT1CAIZ3y3kam2BA worth a punt
  10. Seems weird to put out a PR piece on how your owner is so wise and passionate when you’ve got a player in a coma
  11. Cannon has been dogshit there probs gets loaned out or will be a back up
  12. Think that’s my issue with a lot of these anti Dyche arguments, they’re most not factual and just based on weird misconceptions people have that they can’t back up with facts. People who don’t want him for his style of play is a fine stance, but even going to extent of diminshing a lot of his achievements is mental to me
  13. What players did Dyche not give chances to that have gone on to have fruitful careers at the top level? You can only give chances to players if the talent is there, you don’t just chuck in a lad because he’s 17 and can’t trap a bag of cement
  14. The funniest thing I find about this argument I imagine the vast majority of these people who say Dyche isn’t a premier league manager, are probably the same types that rate Frank who’s done a very similar job at Brentford less successfully and with more money
  15. Brighton is actually a great example of proving your point wrong actually. Brighton got promoted with Chris hughton who solidified the club in the premier league before then changing their style and developing into a European contender.
  16. Sure there’s that argument and Dyche is a very defensively sound manager, which is what we need if we’re not only to be promoted but to maintain our status next time. I think the likes of Monga would do quite well not too far off what cornet’s profile was and he probably got the best out of him I think it’s harsh to beat him with the stick of not bringing up players through Burnley’s academy mind, they’ve never had an esteemed academy and they’re in a pretty tough area in the country to attract young lads. It’ll be a fair criticism if you can show a youth player from Burnley that left and went on to develop into a prem quality player, if there’s no real examples then it’s more likely that he didn’t really have much to work with I understand people being against it from a stylistic stand point, but you’ve got to walk before you can run and the sad truth of it is we’re a club in massive decline and I don’t think we can afford to take another punt on a manager without much of a CV to show for it
  17. They appointed Steve cooper I don’t think there’s a specific style they’re after not neccessairly directly through the academy, but trippier,Keane, tarkowski,McNeil, ings, Collins the list goes on of young players he brought in and they sold for massive profits once they developed them. Dyche has fixed up one club he built Burnley from a lower mid table championship team to a side who were regular present in the premier league despite no money in comparison to the rest of the prem.the idea you think we don’t need a massive reshuffle and the club needs rebuilding from the ground up is beyond delusional it doesn’t need to be a long term plan either, needs 3 years tops and if we want to start moving up the league we get a new gaffer in. The last 3 promoted clubs all had pragmatic managers and only silva has remained whereas the other two have upgraded and are top half currently. Maresca didn’t though, he won the league with the league favourites, we have no idea if anything of this would’ve held water in the premier league because he left.
  18. I don’t really care what the club wants in style, it hasn’t worked so far. He’s got a relatively good record promoting youth and Burnley’s whole business model was developing players and selling them for a long while. He saved them from relegation under difficult circumstances twice, got stale this season sure but that happens under any manager Maresca didn’t really prove anything, he got us promoted which most managers would’ve done with the squad he had. His evidence is his track record, you’re here saying there’s no evidence he’s the right man whilst there is while advocating for a young inexperienced manager this would be fine had we stayed up, we need a manager that won’t just get us promoted but keep us in the division and Dyche has done that. Unless you’re happy with his to continue to be a yo-yo club
  19. 10 mill is wild the only offers he’s getting are from champ clubs anyway
  20. Who’s the other 9
  21. Dyche is the best candidate available to get us promoted and stay in the division simple as really, the youth promotion comment is fine but do Burnley really have an esteemed academy? Did really great with giving people like ings, trippier, tarkowski list goes on starts. He seems to have shown faith in players that are good enough. I don’t mind the idea of gambling with a Rohl who’s shown to be impressive so far, but Dyche should be the number 1 candidate to rebuild the club
  22. Are you local or a foreign fan?
  23. In fairness they’ve been the personification of mid table mediocrity for a decade, I don’t really blame them for the pitch invasion tbh
