  1. Timing of that seems a bit too coincidental
  2. A mother has lost her two sons, and his 3 kids so fatherless. **** me man, really goes to show that clock will stop ticking at any moment, RIP
  3. It’s all so tiresome
  4. It’s going to be really interesting their trajectory in the next couple of years, newey gone, Honda gone, new ownership at the top and their joint most successful driver leaving with a car nobody else seems to be able to drive.
  5. Strong rumours coming out that Verstappen is going Mercedes
  6. They’ve raced wheel to wheel like once what are you baffling about and lando is clearly the number 1, the weekend proved he’ll get the better strategy as long as he starts performing on the Saturday
  7. Is it? No spice in the driver dynamic and winning at a canter every race, it’s at least cool in fact a none factory team winning since over a decade ago though
  8. Rodgers got us relegated and was a safe and established name at the time and enzo left the first chance he got which is kinda my main point. It’s not a case of settling for mediocrity it’s a case of a candidate which levels are above where we currently are but is predefined that it won’t completely derail our future by leaving at the end of the season. Bright exciting future relies purely on being a premier league club, hate to break it to you but an academy is only useful at the top level. There’s no point producing the likes of monga if they’ll be poached at the first opportunity because we lag behind and become a mid table championship side. Weird comparisons as a lot of them are different completely, are you making a style of play argument or what?
  9. But why did we end up with up cooper? Dyche is a far better manager than cooper so I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make here So you’d rather pick a gaffer who will leave after promotion than someone who’s established in keeping clubs up in the premier league and getting promoted? Weird stance tbh, we can go for gaffers with higher ceilings when we’re an established premier league club again, if we ever get to that stage. We aren’t an attractive club to build something over a few years anymore, the manager you’re describing will get out of dodge the first chance he gets, which ends up with more panic appointments like cooper
  10. We’d have ended up on more points under cooper judging from the fact we could at least score under him. It’s a redundant argument anyway time to move on
  11. Yes we are at a low point we’ve had 2 relegations in 3 years with a club in increasingly financial security, meaning we aren’t a very good position to retain people even if they get success here.Stability is key for the next two years. It’s about appointing a manager that you know can get the job done and is likely to remain.
  12. Partly why I think I lean more towards Dyche in a way, Dyche’s ceiling isn’t higher than lower end of the prem the likelihood of him being poached is almost zero. Rohl has a huge ceiling and could very easily end up in a good size job off the back of only getting promoted with us
  13. Must of missed it when ruud got the same games
  14. I like how he asks the question then responds by answering it like
  15. The devil you know and all that
  16. The thing is I’m totally onboard with king power ****ing off but I just know we’ll end up with some nutter. I can’t think of a club that went from one ownership to the other and they were both successful
  17. The word stagnation in this context makes absolutely no sense anyway, we’ve already stagnated. If we can get a manager to get us promoted and stabilise us in the lower end of the table then that is when you start to shift the focus on style of play .etc. whether Dyche is a 3 or a 4 year appointment he’d get us there in that point. Bare in mind as well, the gap between survival in the premier league from promotion is the widest it’s ever been.Anybody arsed about style of play currently is on cloud cuckoo land, this isn’t 5 years ago we’re a club with 2 relegations in 3 years wake up
  18. With that logic in mind then would you consider Craig Shakespeare a better manager than Ranieri
  19. What youth did he refuse to use who should’ve been given a chance?
  20. You want to be a yo-yo club rather than get a gaffer who could come in and take us to lower league stagnation when we’d be able to attract a far better manger at that period and be able to potentially build to where we once was? I will never understand the mentality of people like you
  21. He managed Sheffield Wednesday not dukla Prague like
  22. Rohl would be my ideal pick yeah, think he’s proved he’s got everything we need. Dyche has the better pedigree but i think rohl is the package that’ll please the whole fanbase. My only concern with rohl is I could see a repeat like the Maresca situation, no idea how a Brentford or whatever aren’t looking at him
  23. Considering we’ve had to wait until the 1st of July until sacking our gaffer I don’t think we’ve got a bottomless pit of dollar to work with. No we need a manager who will get us promoted
  24. Our owners are on the brink on bankruptcy and the club has been hemorrhaging money for years and you think appointing one of the best managers at working with a shoe string makes no sense?
