Headed for motorway bridge with a sign but Vardy and daughter already there with megaphone, boom box and Kaiser Chiefs album

I wonder if they were thinking of David Seaman? David Batty?
-
I’ve just heard that Archie Gray’s Dad and Uncle played for Leeds too. You’d have thought someone would mention it in commentary

Yorkshire Bitters, bottled in London

But hey their fans can revel in owning a t-shirt depicting a goal scored against us….in a league game…….in a season that came to nothing….. soon to be hundreds listed on eBay for 49p.

“best team in the league” trophy on its way to Leeds as soon as I can find some tin foil and crayons
-
Congrats Southampton, some steady Eddies and wise heads vs a bunch who are fit as f*** and try to do things at 300 mph hoping some of them fall their way. The likes of Downes and Smallbone bring you composure, quality and sensibility. The Leeds mob were like puppies chasing tennis balls round a park.

I predict they’re crying Souvenir T-shirts to be printed by Leeds showing best half chance of game

……and breathe out

Adams looks leggy, he’s put in a tough 18 minutes to be fair

5pm on Weds 5th of June. It’ll come out of my June food budget and budget for cat biscuits for Mr Tiddles (violin music)…...well ok 5 less pints for me in June but still, would have preferred an option to add it to the direct debit instead.

Thank you Doku for at least showing some hunger and for taking people on. De Bruyne looked really off it, not hungry enough or too much celebrating, I think the adrenalin drops and the long season catches up with you, ditto Haaland.
-
But it won’t clash with United’s parade to their fans. City’s will be around the Manchester area.
-
As Doku pulled the trigger I said “Nooooo don’t do tha…..” ,really thought it was too tame and predictable.

All this detailed technical strategic analysis at half time is BS, Duh it’s because Pep isn’t wearing his lucky jumper . Sort your wardrobe Pep

Most of us were needing a late toilet visit around that time but I think they did sing it.

We did and that will go against us but that was after we sold Fofana which improved but not resolved the situation whilst buying Faes as a replacement. At the time that Lookman was available we hadn’t sold Fofana. Things may have been different if Wes had gone at the start of the window. No it’s true we didn’t stop spending completely, the January transfers were a half hearted attempt to try something to change our fortunes but none had PL pedigree and it was still less than we might otherwise have spent if we were still in reckless mode and fully in recognition of our league status plight.

His situation should be the kind of evidence we put up in the ffp case, to prove that once we knew we were in the s**t we slammed the brakes on. There was a player for a reasonable fee who you knew wouldn't be a gamble, we'd seem he could be effective for us and fit in yet we reluctantly felt we couldn't go through with it. Unlike Forest who signed 30 something players then pointed to their problem being the sale of Johnson being intentionally held off for a bigger profit.

Potter, preferably Graham but if not Harry as we'll need a f***ing wizard to keep us up.
