  1. He looked like a competition winner today.
  2. I'm sure he'll play a big role this season but he wasn't missed today. You can't play Winks, Skipp and Wilf together. Winks rightly the one to be dropped for me.
  3. https://news.sky.com/story/woman-died-of-heart-attack-after-being-repeatedly-orally-raped-by-stranger-on-park-bench-court-hears-13227991
  4. I'm only 31 and I can't wait to retire - if I am lucky enough to ever do so. I'm a bit of a boring bastard you see, I'm quite happy doing sod all. Love a lie in, love to sit for hours on end watching tele or gaming. If I could basically plod around the house, broken up by a couple of holidays a year, I think I'd be happy as larry.
  5. Maresca didn't even play Cannon in the Championship so it seems particularly harsh going after Cooper now 😂
  6. I just sort of assumed my waning interest in City and football in general was due to me getting older (focusing on family, my son, career etc). But lately I have been coming to the same kind of realisations as many here. It's just not as good anymore for dozens of reasons. Despite winning a hell of a lot last season I found myself unable to enjoy it, the style of football is just so dull to watch these days. Granted they'll always be a mad game every so often but a lot are just formulaic. VAR is one of the most jarring for me though. I genuinely hate it.
  7. Only skim read it but she was on about the 2 child benefit cap being 'cruel' and that Dianne Abbott deserves more respect. Can't get much less Tory than that 😂 Granted she also disagreed with the removal of winter fuel allowance but then a lot of Labour MPs voiced that too.
  8. Just the thread we needed.
  9. You're dropping Wilf? He's been one of our best players so far this season. I'd drop Winks before Wilf.
  10. That's a pretty strong positive! Like me saying, "Only positive from today is manageing to nail that threesome with those hot sisters I've had my eye on"
  11. Apart from a couple (Vesty, Winks?), I don't see any signs of players downing tools really.
  12. Starting to get behind the "PL is trying to fvck us" theory, 7 minutes was criminal.
  13. At least i made money on it
  14. Time to put some money on Arsenal, soften the inevitable. Mads is on fire today.
  15. Now let's shithouse thes *****
  16. Nothing header, lucky deflection, we'll take it. I suppose just stay in it for as long as possible now and try and nick something. Also, how the hell is that a yellow for Skipp?
  17. I think the truth falls somewhere in the middle. 4 years is a long, long time in football. Our squad is weaker than the one that won the Championship let alone 4 years ago. We shouldn't be expecting anything other than a limp defeat at Arsenal imo. Apart from that one game in 2020 we always lose there. Even in the title winning season we lost there.
  18. For me, no manager is achieving top half with this squad, but it is good enough to avoid relegation.
  19. Ricardo for Justin and I'd be happy with that.
  20. Good - less wank kick off times.
  21. Cosby impassible this morning. Seen images/video of flooding under the motorway bridge in Narborough, a few houses and cars looked to have been in trouble. The train station was underwater too. My heart goes out to anybody who's home or business has been damaged.
  22. One of the best I've seen facing penalties. This isn't the first time he's done this in the cup. It's a shame he's shit in every other aspect of being a goalkeeper.
  23. This signing was as utterly shite as we all knew it would be the moment it was announced. Christ our recruitment is horrendous nowadays.
