He gets skinned time after time after time. He's just not good enough. The injury ruined him.
-
Is Faes seriously getting criticism? He's been one of our best players this season. If we're calling out Faes then whole 11 needs binning tbh.
-
You haven't watched us much then 😂 Plymouth 1-0 last season?
-
Why? He scored 2 goals in front of their fans and celebrated with them. Against a club that deemed him not good enough for the PL 10 years ago. Good on him.

Mads has been immense and will go on to play for bigger and better clubs than us but I'd argue he directly contributed to defeat today by being at fault for the third goal which completely killed the game.

Notts Forest (H) 25th Oct - 8pm. Match Thread
DennisNedry replied to tcrofts's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ricardo, Mav, Fats all poor. I thought Mads was at fault for 3-1. First mistake I remember him ever making for us. Still had a good game overall. Forest are a good side now, it hurts to say. -
This is all completely correct. It is however a valid point to note how disingenuous the family of Kaba have been. If he was my son, brother etc I'd keep my head down. I'd be embarrassed to be associated with him. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I guess.

Notts Forest (H) Friday 25th October 8pm

I can't quite tell if you're on the wind up 😂 Anecdotal I know, but of the 3 Forest fans I know, all 3 dislike us. 1 would even say more so than Derby. But then there are geographically closer to Leicestershire. I'm sure most Forest fans near the Derbyshire border don't care about us. The only Leicester fans who Cov even register for are ones in and around Hinckley. I've never been too fussed about Derby because we always seem to beat them. Forest on the other hand, there's been a few great wins and bitter defeats in recent times. The 3-2 defeat at the City ground, circa 2011, lives rent free in my mind. -
I came here to make a few of those points and see you've done so better that I could have done.

If you can't get enjoyment from back to back wins and a 98th minute winner, then you might just need to get a new hobby.

Good appointment. I do think that international managers should be the same nationality as the team they are managing. But hey, those aren't the rules, so with that in mind, we've appointed a top manager with a history of winning trophies.

I've got a fixed term savings account ending in a fortnight. I had planned to lump it in my S&S ISA, however the market is riding very high right now, so is it a bad time to put more in? It does look as though a correction is due. I'm using a vanguard lifestyle 80 by the way, and am by no means an experienced Investor. Any advice would be much welcomed 🙂

Whenever I've seen Cleverly on tele he's came across as a massive *****.

https://news.sky.com/story/uks-population-increases-by-1-in-a-year-mainly-due-to-net-migration-ons-says-13230157 In the year to mid 2023, the UK population increased by 1%, the largest increase since 1948. For the first time since 1976, "natural population" (births-deaths) was negative, and so the entire growth in population was down to net migration, running at almost 700,000 people.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
DennisNedry replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Just picked up The Talos Principle 2. Hope I enjoy it as much as the first one. -
The Utd Villa game is shite. All ballet dancers. Fouls for nothing every 10 seconds. No quality of note.
-
I didn't think there were any credible penalty shouts yesterday for either team tbh.
-
It says a lot really that even OAP Vardy is the best option we have at the moment. He shouldn't really be starting anymore, especially not week in week out. Unfortunately our recruitment has been so diabolical that there's nobody to take his place.
-
First half shit. Bournemouth fans fairly quiet but did hear the usual 'football in a library' and 'your support is ****ing shit' songs early doors. Then at 1-0, the '1-0 and you still don't sing' went unanswered. Second half, from about 60 mins, atmosphere was decent, building to quite a strong finish to get us over the line.

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

He looked like a competition winner today. -
I'm sure he'll play a big role this season but he wasn't missed today. You can't play Winks, Skipp and Wilf together. Winks rightly the one to be dropped for me.

I'm only 31 and I can't wait to retire - if I am lucky enough to ever do so. I'm a bit of a boring bastard you see, I'm quite happy doing sod all. Love a lie in, love to sit for hours on end watching tele or gaming. If I could basically plod around the house, broken up by a couple of holidays a year, I think I'd be happy as larry.

Maresca didn't even play Cannon in the Championship so it seems particularly harsh going after Cooper now 😂

I just sort of assumed my waning interest in City and football in general was due to me getting older (focusing on family, my son, career etc). But lately I have been coming to the same kind of realisations as many here. It's just not as good anymore for dozens of reasons. Despite winning a hell of a lot last season I found myself unable to enjoy it, the style of football is just so dull to watch these days. Granted they'll always be a mad game every so often but a lot are just formulaic. VAR is one of the most jarring for me though. I genuinely hate it.
