Hello everyone. A mate of mine from the comedy world (Ivo Graham) messaged me yesterday and passed on an idea - that ten years on from the greatest triumph in sporting history, someone should post content on the corresponding date this year (and next) to relive the 2015/16 season, game by game, to remind the world of how crazy that time was. He's a Swindon supporter and he remembers how mad it was for me back then, so we started thinking that there must be a load of content and amazing stories that we could share over the course of the season. We lived it, but supporters of nearly every other club ended up cheering us on too. And if nothing else, it'll distract us from FFP nonsense for a bit. So I decided to do it. It's on Instagram at: www.instagram.com/lcfc5000to1. Please give the page a follow if you can. First "proper" post will be up on the 8th (to correspond with the Sunderland game in 2015) so if anyone wants to share any particular images, videos, memories etc... please feel free to pass them on here or via email at [email protected]. Posts there at the minute are little placeholders (season predictions from back then etc). One thing I'd love to do is have some video of people recounting a particular match; I absolutely want this to feel like a community memory thing rather than me just recounting how I felt at the time (which was mainly disbelief and then horrific nerves from February 2016 onwards). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Based on how often their logo was on the screen and the advertising hoardings today, I wouldn’t be shocked if Kwiff ended up the sponsor on the shirt in the end. I believe they are also a betting company, but one whose website has existed for longer than a month.

As someone who lives near Wrexham, and with my son going to school up here and surrounded by new Wrexham fans thanks to their recent success, this is absolutely hilarious on every possible level. "ANOTHER PREMIER LEAGUE STAR SIGNS FOR WREXHAM" will be what the clickbait headlines read. And we will laugh until we cannot breathe.

Shocked!

Was working with a Rangers fan today. He seems convinced he's on his way up there and furthermore, was really excited about it. I kept quiet just in case.
-
Yes indeed. It actually looks alright.
-
It’ll be the latter. Watched him play twice in the MLS and he was rotten.

There was for a bit. Tiny!

If he is he'll be passing you on the inside lane after flashing his lights at you.

I lived in Florida for four years (up till December) and I very rarely had to explain the "soccer jersey" that I was wearing. Not just with Americans either - my neighbors on each side were from Ecuador and Mexico and they were even more enthusiastic about me being a Leicester supporter. Prior to 2016 we certainly weren't a big deal, but it's not just us winning the league that did it. The Premier League coverage over there is massive, and the Championship is pretty well covered on ESPN+ too. All my American friends have a "British team", although annoyingly it's often Spurs or Arsenal.

LCFC 0-3 Newcastle - Post Match Thread

He’s 48. He can stay up as late as he likes. -
Anyone else want us to pick a team of just 15 year olds for the next game just to annoy BC Game? (also because they'd be better than the current team)

Every week I like football less and less

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Starting to think Ruud’s whole mission is to just ruin Vardy’s last season as revenge for Jamie breaking his record. He is a petty, horse faced man. -
West Ham 2-0 KPFC - Post Match Apathy

Dreadful display and the social media team choose a picture where Bilal looks like he’s playing with his hands in his pockets. “Work to do”. You don’t say. -
West Ham 2-0 KPFC - Post Match Apathy

I wish that this would mean RVN walking away tomorrow, but I'm sure he has an accountant reminding him that if he does that then he's walking away from a ton of money. I mean it's not like he's ever going to get a job anywhere else now, so he's hanging on till we fire him, which we probably can't. Whole situation is rotten. I hate modern football. I'd just like to see just some semblance of fight and desire for the team from anyone. I suspect Mavididi was trying his best more to prove a point to RVN (and failing, let's be honest, even if he was brighter than everyone else) than to actually get the team anything. Still, nothing will change tomorrow; we'll still have RVN and Rudkin and upper management who haven't had a clue what to do since Vichai passed away. This season is like fighting a constant, terrible depression that nothing can pull you out of. Hideous on every level. -
The West Hammering Away Match Thread
jimsmallman replied to fazzyfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Second goal went in and Ruud couldn't have looked like he cared less. Worst manager in the history of our club. No passion. No ideas. Nothing whatsoever. Beyond crap. Never mind Cooper being better, a weird hybrid lovechild of all the worst parts of Pleat, Levein and Holloway would be better. -

This game is making me not just dislike our current team, but actively hate the game of football. -
Ruud HAS to go. Now. Don't even wait for tomorrow. Get him gone and bring in whoever we want in the Championship next season. Or let Kingy have a go. SOMEONE WHO CARES JUST A LITTLE TINY BIT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
-
This point exactly! We've had plenty of DREADFUL players but at least I saw some fight in them.
-
The combination of the consumerist horror that is the Premier League combined with how dreadful we are, without an ounce of fight in us, has made me more depressed than when we got relegated to League One. I couldn't care less that we're in the "best league in the world". It's torture. I will care again when we're in the Championship, with a hungry young manager who isn't reliant on the fact that he was a good player, with a younger team of players who I can start to like again. I don't even care when we lose at the minute. Passion replaced by apathy.
-
Rotten. Absolutely useless and Ruud hasn’t got a clue. It’s like watching ten competition winners and their grizzled old uncle.

North Wales, when I can get to games around work. Previously it was Hinckley, Barwell and then Orlando (the latter was a bit of a commute)

Asked why he took off El Khannouss, Van Nistelrooy replied: "Because the crowd [does not] want a substitution, it doesn't mean I have to explain all the reasons behind the substitution. It's not for the public, out of respect for the players to come on, because they are valuable members of the squad, and they deserve minutes to help this team as well. It's not about one person in this team, in this squad." Aaah. So he can’t explain it because he doesn’t know why he did it. Wanted to like him but he’s making Cooper look like Shankly, Fergie and prime Mourinho combined.
