Then the stewards would have to get their meal vouchers as they’d be doing more work!

My son, aged 9, asked me to post this on his behalf after he came up with it while bored out of his mind at the Watford game. To the tune of “Dragostea din tei” by O-Zone Jerem-ee-hoo Jerem-ee-haa Jereme-ee-hee JEREMY MONGA Now it’s stuck in YOUR head as well as mine.

I really hope that this works and gains more momentum over the next week. My only slight worry is that some tickets will have been bought for people as christmas presents so it's harder to imagine people willingly giving them up. (Although what an awful present. Get someone socks FFS)

Stewards not receiving usual food vouchers

I have no doubt that we’re completely broke but the “email” is as fake as those ones I get from shipping companies in Africa telling me there’s a box with diamonds in it with my name on if I can send them my bank account sort code and account number. Still, will get a few people talking. -
It is absolutely horrible at the minute. And it’s awful that we’ve fallen off in what feels like an unprecedented way from where we were a decade ago (even five years ago). But it’s not the worst. When we’ve had a few years of this before ultimately getting relegated to league one and being stuck there for a few years… THEN it’s worse, because at least last time we bounced back immediately. (That’s right, I don’t think we’ll go down this year. But it’ll be close. I think we’ll stink up mid to lower table for a few years first)

LCFC 1-2 Watford, post match thread

Just got home. That was absolute garbage. Okoli has a slight out for being bobbins in that he hasn’t been playing. Jakub is sadly not very good. How bad is the Spanish keeper to not get anywhere near the team after playing in Europe and La Liga? How utterly useless is Carranza to not get brought on when we’re chasing the game and need attacking options? Someone please sit Fatawu down and tell him that he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is (and presumably people are telling him he is) Defences are terrified of Monga. Why can’t he start a game? Nelson, Skipp and James look like they’re trying. Everyone else can get in the bin. Same post match interview from Marti saying he needs to change the culture etc - basically “don’t blame me, they won’t listen” Then grow a pair and MAKE them listen. It’s your job. -
Watford - Home - Boxing Day 3pm - Anyone going?

Funnily enough my first game with my dad (he was always working when I was little, when I was older we went to every game together for years) was the Christmas game (December 27 1993) against Watford. 4-4 draw. Everyone looked like they were still drunk. No idea why we didn’t play on Boxing Day that year, just had to google when the game was to check! -

My lad wants to go and it means we can visit family as well so we’re going. I’ll say this - much as everyone is saying they’re not going here, there are four tickets left in P2. Was hundreds left when I bought them for the Stoke game. -
never has something been more apt

QPR 4-1 LCFC, post-match thread

Just predicting Marti’s interview now. “it’s a tough result to take, we started slowly but we worked hard in the second half. Now we just need to stay together”. Aaaaaagh -
Again he had a bit of fight about him when everyone else was either panicking or a passenger in that second half.

Shout out to the bloke in front of me (I’d say early fifties) who arrived ten minutes into the game with a woman who was at least twenty years younger than him and dressed like she was going to a club. They made eyes at each other throughout the first half, giggling as she took selfies of them, then came back for five minutes of the second half and left for good. They have absolutely had a better night than everyone else who watched the second half. And arguably a better night than I’ve had for all of my forties.- 290 replies

I was at the game tonight. He’s got to go. Once again we have not played well for an entire game, and if we’re honest we were a little lucky to be 2-0 up anyway. It’s the genuinely baffling substitutions for me. Was JJ having his best game? Probably not, but taking him off for Daka is an insane decision. Bobby was doing alright, why take him off? They just can’t be that knackered. Then we just set up to get battered. There’s no fight from Marti either. I’d like him a lot more if he properly lost his temper from time to time but he looks like a mildly irritated bank manager. He’s not an awful human being. Often says the right stuff. But he’s not a very good manager, and he’s out of his depth and not getting better. I know whoever comes in probably won’t get much more out of these players but the fact that we occasionally have a really good 45 tells you there is the ability there, just not the mentality. It might be a transitional season but I’d rather have someone better in now to consolidate this season and then start next season properly.

Pre Match - Bristol City (A) Dec 10th 7:45pm

I'd start Silko in Abdul's place on Wednesday. Bring him on after 60 minutes if we have to. -
You know what, I'm starting to think that there might have been a player in there all along and he was just badly managed by two useless managers last season. It's not like he ever got a chance to even show he was half decent under Cooper and RVN. Everyone was atrocious. He did great at Norwich at this level, was in the PFA team of the year from his ever-present season in the Championship. He's here for a long time and he certainly doesn't look like one of those who is just happy sitting on the bench taking a wage.

Skipp in the post match interview: “I’ll play wherever the team needs me” Thats the attitude we need. He was fantastic today. Team defended very well across the board. Derby were always going to throw everything at us in the second half when we were 3-0 up. And it should have been 4c cheers lino.

I know we’d all love to have scored another but I think we’ve defended well today. They were always going to throw everything at us when they were 3-0 down.

Look how happy Skipp was. He cares! Smashing finish to be fair too.
