  1. A sign of how respected he is in the squad is the fact that he took a corner near the end of the game over Bilal (and it was a great corner, too). I like the lad from what I've seen of him so far from pre season to now.
  2. Did anyone watch him play much for Oxford? Was he expected to be a similar type of ball-playing defender as we seem to be asking him to do tonight?
  3. This Friday (15th) is the anniversary of the West Ham away game so there will be a few posts about that on the day. Shinji’s first goal! ❤️ as always, if you have any memories, photos, stories from that day please either DM me at the lcfc5000to1 Instagram or drop me an email at [email protected] (that way they are easier to screenshot and post)
  4. It's only a tenner and on general sale so I'm going along to this now. Hope he gives Page and Evans a run out.
  5. It’ll be Kwiff or that LiteFinance thing. Both really prominent around the stadium. Based on zero evidence other than that.
  6. In the EFL team of the week.
  7. They didn’t? Still in League One.
  8. Oooooooooooooooooooooooh boy. I honestly don’t mind Ayew. But you’d think he’d turn down the number nine when offered it. Theres gonna be a meltdown amongst some fans now
  9. Hello all. Have started posting stuff at https://www.instagram.com/lcfc5000to1 today as it's ten years since the Sunderland game. Posted a lot of video clips this morning, thanks to @Footballwipe who has sent me so much great stuff. Very, VERY grateful. I'd love to do one more post today / tomorrow if possible (I posted loads this morning as I have to head to Cardiff for work now), which would be any memories that you guys have of that game. So I can screenshot things properly, I'd need them EMAILING to me via [email protected] rather than posted here. Can be just a paragraph of what you remember from the game, how you felt after it etc; or if you happen to have screenshots of Whatsapp chats from back then or pictures from the day that you could send on then that would be fantastic. Please spread the word on this too - it's great for us to be nostalgic but I'm also using it as a way to educate my nearly nine year old son (born two days before the Hull game in 2016!) on how insane that season was from start to finish. Thanks all!
  10. I’m not at the game Sunday but we should car share sometime (I live near Mold)
  11. Absolutely can if it doesn't annoy everyone!
  12. That would be awesome if you could mate, I would be very grateful if it's not too much of a hassle!
  13. FANTASTIC. Thank you very much!
  14. Hello everyone. A mate of mine from the comedy world (Ivo Graham) messaged me yesterday and passed on an idea - that ten years on from the greatest triumph in sporting history, someone should post content on the corresponding date this year (and next) to relive the 2015/16 season, game by game, to remind the world of how crazy that time was. He's a Swindon supporter and he remembers how mad it was for me back then, so we started thinking that there must be a load of content and amazing stories that we could share over the course of the season. We lived it, but supporters of nearly every other club ended up cheering us on too. And if nothing else, it'll distract us from FFP nonsense for a bit. So I decided to do it. It's on Instagram at: www.instagram.com/lcfc5000to1. Please give the page a follow if you can. First "proper" post will be up on the 8th (to correspond with the Sunderland game in 2015) so if anyone wants to share any particular images, videos, memories etc... please feel free to pass them on here or via email at [email protected]. Posts there at the minute are little placeholders (season predictions from back then etc). One thing I'd love to do is have some video of people recounting a particular match; I absolutely want this to feel like a community memory thing rather than me just recounting how I felt at the time (which was mainly disbelief and then horrific nerves from February 2016 onwards). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading!
  15. Based on how often their logo was on the screen and the advertising hoardings today, I wouldn’t be shocked if Kwiff ended up the sponsor on the shirt in the end. I believe they are also a betting company, but one whose website has existed for longer than a month.
  16. Kasper Ricardo Morgan Elliott Fuchs Kante Tielemans Izzet Mahrez Vardy Heskey Bench: Cambiasso Huth Lennon Claridge King Albrighton Kaamark (Sub GKs are pointless in such things)
  17. As someone who lives near Wrexham, and with my son going to school up here and surrounded by new Wrexham fans thanks to their recent success, this is absolutely hilarious on every possible level. "ANOTHER PREMIER LEAGUE STAR SIGNS FOR WREXHAM" will be what the clickbait headlines read. And we will laugh until we cannot breathe.
  18. Was working with a Rangers fan today. He seems convinced he's on his way up there and furthermore, was really excited about it. I kept quiet just in case.
  19. Yes indeed. It actually looks alright.
  20. It’ll be the latter. Watched him play twice in the MLS and he was rotten.
  21. There was for a bit. Tiny!
  22. If he is he'll be passing you on the inside lane after flashing his lights at you.
  23. I lived in Florida for four years (up till December) and I very rarely had to explain the "soccer jersey" that I was wearing. Not just with Americans either - my neighbors on each side were from Ecuador and Mexico and they were even more enthusiastic about me being a Leicester supporter. Prior to 2016 we certainly weren't a big deal, but it's not just us winning the league that did it. The Premier League coverage over there is massive, and the Championship is pretty well covered on ESPN+ too. All my American friends have a "British team", although annoyingly it's often Spurs or Arsenal.
  24. He’s 48. He can stay up as late as he likes.
