Mads Faes, Vestergaard, JJ Ricardo, Winks Fatawu, Ndidi, Buonanotte, Mavididi Vards Nowhere to be seen: BDCR, VK, Hamza & Jordan Ayew. Stop ****ing about Cooper. -
I've travelled quite a bit, maybe not quite @bovril levels, but certainly to a reasonable mix of counties. I've never had people ignore how I pronounce my name when they repeat it back or try and use it. They might be heavily accented because English isn't their first language but they still try. Like, nobody on the Mediterranean - for example - has ever insisted on calling me Ricardo. I have been called Lick multiple times in Japan which, I have to say, was ****ing hilarious. But that was just people struggling with sounds they don't often make in their language. They were still very earnestly trying their best to repeat the name I was saying back to me. Dennis Praet isn't actually pronounced exactly Dennis Pratt but we don't have an equivalent exactly to their ae and it's very subtle so nobody got too pedantic about it. But people not even getting close when trying to pronounce names like Tielemans despite unavoidably hearing it correctly hundreds of times on TV and radio is pretty poor form.

Can't force a player to come here though can we. Fee for O'Riley might as well be ninety mil if he's not interested.
-
In recent games it looks like he's played as both a CM in a 343 and as an AM in a 3421.
-
Not necessarily. Just had a similar conversation with Mark. The fact it's come from a very well known Belgian tipster feels a lot to me like the agent trying to put pressure on his club because he's agreed terms with us but Genk's asking price is deemed too high.
-
It's not official if I don't lock this thread right? @Mark don't do it.

The alternative is getting excited about Ayew.

Tavolieri is an odd one. He's a bit like Di Marzio, often reliable when he says something is actually happening but tends to tie a lot of clubs in to the generic rumours to fuel engagement. Less reliable than Fab but uses the same tricks. We've got him in Tier 2 atm. If Kristof Terreur says a bid has gone in, we can get proper excited.
-
Someone start spamming Kristof Terreur's DMs.
-
Could try locking them with a message in them saying individual TV shows and films can be discussed in their own threads in entertainment now? Try it out for a bit. If it doesn't work well just bring back the mega threads and move them in to entertainment, no harm done.

The only way it's an obligation is if there's no conditions. In which case we'd probably agree to pay a larger fee for the convenience of paying it next year when the last relegation season is out of the three year cycle.
-
Can't wait til he drops both of our star wingers from last year to start BDCR and Ayew either side of whatever poverty 5 goal a season striker we're going to panic buy next week.
-
You got me. I am Eliud Kipchoge. Rumbled.
-
Have you even watched him play. On what planet is he anything like Slimani. He's six foot and Mediterranean that's basically where the comparisons begin and end. You might as well liken Landon Donovan to Romario.

This is hands down the single transfer that has enraged me the most in the last decade. I wasnt this angry when we signed Bertrand or Vestergaard because above all else it just shows we've learned abso ****ing lutely nothing. It's a transfer that takes all the hope away that we've turned a corner. Cooper is a worse manager than Dean Smith, Ayew is worse signing than anyone Congerton brought in and this time when we get relegated the EFL are going to be ready and waiting to kick the shit out of us and we won't have a squad of genuine talent to bounce us back up. Our Sunderland years are literally starting.
-
Never in his wildest dreams has Vardy been able to carry the ball or hold it up like Ioannidis. They're just different players. Why even compare. Usain Bolt thinks Jamie Vardy is slow. Eliud Kipchoge thinks Usain Bolt is a pussy for only being able to run 200 odd meters without dying on his arse.
-
Palace were not far off relegation fodder in most of those seasons, carried by one or two star players that absolutely weren't Ayew. And that's before he was like 56 or whatever he is. Man is shit. This is appalling business. The best he's going to contribute is running around a lot and putting a shift in defensively. If that's the sum total of what we expect from a winger we could have just saved millions of pounds and extended the contract of our own resident octogenarian Sharky by another year. This is absolutely rancid.
