I understand I probably have too much faith in the club but I can't imagine we'd sell BEK and Fatawu and we don't have any choice with BEK. We're selling everyone without buying a soul. If we sell Fatawu, it's because something much, much bigger is wrong at the club than we realise.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

We're gonna be ****ing terrible -
Cifuentes isn't the director of football. Cifuentes isn't the owner. Cifuentes isn't the head of recruitment. Cifuentes is the head coach, he's been given a fairly limited squad with some very obvious flaws. He's got to do the best he can with it, on and off the pitch. What in the sweet, holy, **** are you expecting him to turn up and say? "Lol this Faes guy is shit get him in the reserves"? What a ridiculous thing to moan about.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Finnegan replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He was absolutely awful until the subs and he was no longer the 9. People just got massive recency bias because he finished the game OK against ten knackered Wednesday players when he finally got a more free role. Even at the end he wasted half decent chances a couple of times by shooting straight at the keeper from outside the box. The run he went on to set up Daka's header was good but they were absolutely running on fumes at that point. First seventy odd minutes he was terrible. Just slowed the game down whenever he got the ball. -
I'm sorry but you just don't go off your feet into a sliding 50/50 challenge with your boot extended out towards another player 2 minutes after you are yellow carded for dissent. Even in real time he looked like an idiot. It was not smart play. One of the least debatable sendings off I've seen in years, the fact he stood around debating it and then went back to try and give Winks lip as if Winks had got him sent off was bemusing.

Easy to just remember that we won the first 13 out of 14 with Enzo and forget the actual games themselves. We had plenty of matches like today in the first few games, the Cov game at home was almost a mirror of this. Definitely think Cifuentes made mistakes that he needs to learn from, Skipp and Soumare need to be done together and Winks needs to start, or else we need to buy someone who can do the same job. We have to actually be able to build up the pitch with some urgency and Winks is pretty much the only player on our books that can do that. Jordan Ayew is definitely no Vardy, either. Thought he was mostly ****ing awful until Daka came on and he got a somewhat more free role against 10 exhausted Wednesday players. Christ we need a striker. It'll improve for sure but we lack quality in a lot of areas.

One thing I will give you, he HAS been the best Ayew on the pitch.
-
We're struggling to find 3.5m for a striker we desperately need
-
Been a Kasperesque performance from their keeper
-
I was saying Wooo-urns
-
Put your hands up if you had Vestergaard and Faes scoring at the right end on your betting slip
-
Faes
-
Not sure I understand taking Fatawu off unless his minutes are still being regulated as part of his recovery. Ayew still being on is wild.
-
Assume you posted that and then saw the replay from the angle where he rakes his studs down Winks leg
-
What is he protesting about
-
We don't deserve Fatawu
-
Ffs Ayew
-
Got a vision of Monga scoring the winner and Ric having a stroke (of one type or another)
-
Why the **** is he bringing on Faes
-
In all fairness, can we really blame them trying to stall and time waste a bit?
-
Vestergaard and Justin tried so hard to **** that up
-
Always liked Vestergaard
-
First ten minutes maybe but then was fine?
-
Ayew off for Daka or even McAteer, next. Need some pace to actually ****ing press them. Ayew has done **** all. He isn't linking up play, he isn't bringing the wingers in, he just slows everything down and can't ****ing press.

Winks has covered more ground in five minutes than Skipp managed in a half and BEK Has been our hardest working player so far, literally sprinting to chase balls and take throw ins to try and up the tempo. Looks like he cares more than most of them tbh.
