What a terrible season.
-
We're five points adrift. Of a team who have scored more and conceded less than us to boot. If you don't think that's much, we need nearly a point every other game more than Wolves when we haven't even scored a goal in 400 minutes. We're 15 points adrift of 16th. Everton and West Ham could almost certainly both lose all their remaining games 10-0 and stay up. We're in a knife fight for one surviving position and our players have no confidence left and almost none of them have any fighting spirit, we know this because plenty of them were here two years ago when we limped out of the same league in the same way. There probably is a manager in the world somewhere who could fix it but not one who is available, willing and on the radar of our club's football intelligence. It's done, mate. You'll have happier spring and summer if you just make peace with that now.

If you haven't already you're in denial. I'd much rather the club smell the coffee right now and start preparing for next season than live in airy fairy land and keep throwing good money after bad.

We aren't staying up. We don't have an appropriate interim at the club (before anyone even thinks it, it wouldn't be fair on any party to ask King to do it) and bringing one in costs more money.

Wayne Rooney having the audacity to comment on any Premier League manager is even funnier than Gary Nevillle citing his time at Valencia as a qualifier for giving an opinion.

Cunha is an absolute bellsniff

Get tae **** He was shite. Just because Ruud is shite too doesn't mean Cooper was worth keeping.

Probably the worst back to back managerial hires of my lifetime?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Finnegan replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's got so little idea how to coach an attacking team (btw this is something the PSV fans said about him and a bit reason I didn't want him) that at this point I genuinely think we'd be more threatening if we lobbed two strikers on and really did just play like cavemen lumping it up the pitch. At the least the randomness of it would shit house some chances by accident. -
The team isn't set up to press well and we create next to **** all. We've got much bigger problems than Vards.

Anyone excited about tomorrow's game ?
Finnegan replied to marcymarc666's topic in Leicester City Forum
I know some people are still in denial but we're already down and we're going down with a squad that isn't enjoyable to watch and a coach that doesn't know what he's doing. I'm not going to be excited, or even interested, in any game left this year. -
It's just impact, he got whacked.

The last couple of versions have made the game increasingly accessible to Western audiences and Wilds looks like another big step in that direction. The beta was really fun to play with really solid, dynamic combat. If you like games that are largely just fighting bosses (Souls likes, etc) then sure. Absolutely. If you're expecting an enormous amount of story and "questing" and typical RPG elements then probably not so much. Hopefully there'll be a demo up? I'm sure there was for World and Rise.
-
They're making an active effort to make Wilds more accessible to new players with more conventional story and a more gradual introduction so I think that's something they're aware of and fixing. I love it, I'd recommend it to anyone but with games costing what they do these days I'd still say maybe try and see if there's a demo out first?
-
It's a shame you missed the open beta, is there a demo for Wilds? What I would say is that Wilds, for me, feels a lot more fluid and dynamic than World did. But I'd also say I think you grow in to it. The very, very first time I downloaded a Monster Hunter game I lasted about five minutes. I felt the same as you really, I thought it was a bit clunky and I wasn't used to the controls at all. But if you actualy give yourself some time to adjust and learn I find them massively satisfying games to play. The game play is just absolutely brilliant when you get familiar with it.
-
Looks like the multiplayer system is exactly the same as World which is a bit of a missed opportunity given all the hype for the big persistent world. I don't particularly mind that, it was functional in world, but it definitely could have been improved. All in a all, hyped.
-
Yeah so many little details just felt great. Mostly only really played DBs in the beta which I mained in World and the combat felt so much more slick and responsive. Mate and I have both booked Friday off to get straight on it. Haven't done that for launch day of a game in many years
-
It's almost time. Any other Foxestalkers going to be diving in on Friday to the latest installment? Played the first and last betas and am pretty excited.

I'm usually quite strong in my defence of Jiffy, I don't really think he's anywhere near as biased as England fans like to make out. Think a lot of English sports fans are so used to comms that are absurdly biased towards them, being British TV, that they have a habit of over reacting when somebody isn't. Jiffy wears his heart on his sleeve, he doesn't hide who he wants to win but he's usually pretty balanced in his calls and is nearly always the first to put his hand up and say when things that go against Wales were just their own fault. All of that said, even with that being my position, I thought he was on one yesterday he definitely was getting carried away with some of his views on the officiating which was, for the most part, pretty decent.
-
they were still watching the replay when the match deciding kick was being taken, no sense of occasion at all. Mind you, I'm pretty sure at one point the BBC missed an entire scrum just to have an awkwardly long close up of Gareth Anscombe's face
-
It was three for Duhan and basically the entire rest of the Scottish and half the Irish squad. It's only become five recently.
-
Tim Simpson would shoot from there.
-
That was even better than the Lawrence one before half time
-
The amount of errors from both teams but especially Scotland is insane.
