  1. Yeah man, just getting it all ready to go.
  2. They've been waiting to have Gary O'Neil holding it up for his big reveal
  3. Regret saying anything yet?
  4. Peter O'Rourke is speed running his mission in to the Nixon tier.
  5. "I don't know." "I don't know." "Maaaybe? But I don't actually know." "No idea to be honst." "Not a ****ing clue." "Here's a bunch of speculation I found on FoxesTalk with no sources beyond public record." "Here's a bunch of guesswork and here I am, working for a major UK newspaper, using Ric Flair's opinions as a source." "Lol your guess is as good as mine pal." What a ****ing eye-opening expose that was, really riveting digging behind the scenes, Tom. Wonderful. Glad we all hung on tenterhooks for that, man. JFC.
  6. Did Percy also not say that Dyche isn't a target or did I imagine that? I said before, I can't see it ever being Dyche while Top has the final say.
  7. Tbf it would be peak Rudkin to hear all the hype about the manager becoming free in Sheffield and go get the wrong one.
  8. In all seriousness that is it, isn't it? He's currently negotiating his own release from Wednesday isn't he?
  9. The source was Sacha Tavolieri, the same person that broke the news BEK was signing for Leicester. Tav has set himself up like a mini Fab for Belgian football, he's pretty reliable and it seems likely he's connected to a fair few agents in Belgium. He posts some click baity shit that's only a half story, like this, the same as Fab does. But when he says something is happening with a Belgian player it usually is. However, all he said was that BEK was one of several players Leverkusen were looking at and nothing was confirmed.
  10. People wildly over exaggerate how bad our situation is quite frankly. We aren't a basket case, we aren't in a dangerous financial position, we don't have some crazy, eccentric owner who is volatile and unpredictable. We've just made some poor decisions that have damaged the value of our squad. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting we're well run but there's a chasm of difference between the best run clubs and the worst. He's also just a coach. He's not shackled to it. He's leaving a dreadful situation at Wednesday and will be joining a club that's one of the favourites to go up, with a bigger budget than he's been used to, decent facilities and better players than he had at Wednesday. It's another step up on the managerial career ladder. Think some of you are being a bit dramatic in your doom and gloom.
  11. Unless KP completely go pop, I think we'll get a points deduction and still finish playoffs tbh.
  12. I was being deeply sarcastic
  13. How can this possibly be when he's the next Ronaldo.
  14. We aren't getting a 12 point deduction and a transfer embargo. That's ridiculous.
  15. Used as a stepping stone is one of the stupidest phrases in football. It implies one of two things: 1. You think you're Real Madrid 2. You only want shit people that can't get any better. In either instance it's stupid. Liverpool, the champions of England, just lost a player to Real. PSG, Champions of Europe, have lost players to Real. People are always moving upwards in sport. Why would you not want people that are upwardly mobile? We're going to benefit massively from them.
  16. This looks like someone had a brilliant idea for the design of a kit but described it in the worst possible way to an AI programmed to make the cheapest thing possible off the prompt. Puma have a high ceiling and that's a recreation of a brilliant St Pauli shirt from about ten years ago but the end result is staggeringly bad.
  17. There seems to be a certain degree of flexibility with timing and the books, doesn't there? The KDH deal was finalised a couple of days after the 1st yet we were allowed to attribute it to the previous period. We can terminate Ruud's contract a few days before the 1st and attribute it to the following period. I imagine that loses a bit of credibility if we sack him in May at the end of the season but turn around and say "yeah but we'll totally give him his compo next year." I know we like to accuse the club of a lot in terms of incompetence but I imagine stuff like this fairly straightforward and basic. We've managed to swerve punishment several seasons in a row, we're obviously not completely useless legally. I imagine the lawyers and accountants have confirmed this timing will be fine?
  18. I was, under no circumstances, implying anyone should read anything in to it. Just that it looks hilarious
  19. his percentiles chart on FBref is done, as default, as vs. Full Backs which makes for hilarious viewing. Looks like That Guy™ on your five-a-side team that never passes to anyone, doesn't bother defending, just runs and shoots every time.
  20. Wow christ, didn't see that coming.
  21. He's still very, very much learning. I imagine he's years away from taking a senior management post. I understand the buzz on here but I do wish people would adjust their expectations, back off and let him develop a while.
  22. It's more than "just" a rumour in fairness. The same guy that broke the news he was coming here has said that Leverkusen are interested, personally I can believe it. However, that IS all he's said. He's not said they've bid, he's not said we've accepted, he's not said Bilal is pushing for it, he's just said Leverkusen consider him an option.
  23. Unless he has any sort of release fee, I'd definitely be demanding a little bit more owing to the fact they've just made record amounts in sales.
