This is the issue, if teams can shut down the wings we don't have an answer at the moment. Wilf was the surprise solution earlier in the season. We've even thrown Ricardo up there late on. Casadei wasn't it, Praet's not it, Yunus doesn't seem to be it - we are sorely missing that no. 10/natural high 8

I agree with your interpretation of the phrase 'you make your own luck' And I'm enjoying how it contradicts your previous post

Half an hour left, if we're serious having got this far it's time for the subs. Bournemouth will score sooner or later if we don't -
At the risk of taking some flak, I think we have to be really careful when we're criminalising distasteful behaviour as 'hate crime'. The idea of legal protection against being offended is a really tricky area. These pricks are braindead morons and football clubs have the right to individually or collectively refuse to allow them to attend matches. Their actions could have incited violence and are probably a public order offence. I think the law covers this stuff pretty well without getting into territory where saying something that someone else finds upsetting becomes a hate crime.

That Daka miss is gross misconduct -
Forget the Daka disallowed goal. Undone by not putting away two crystal-clear, diamond-edged, gilded ****ing chances

It's our weakness - we lack pace in the middle of the pitch. Wout, Vesty, Winks - none of them are setting any sprinting records. Thing is, over the season this disadvantage is outweighed by the strengths - being very, very good with the ball at their feet and a very high pass completion percentage in the middle. We will lose goals to mistakes and quick breaks. We'll lose games to teams that exploit our lack of pace at the back, take their chances, weather the storm and get a bit of luck. Most of the time, however, these factors won't align and teams will not be able to outscore us. With the squad Enzo has, the percentages are in Leicester's favour. We have 78 points from a possible 99. We've only dropped points in 8 games, losing 5. We've won 25 games of 33. We don't need an antidote, we just need to accept that in a small proportion of matches across the season our opponents will exploit our weaknesses and get the rub of the green. We quite simply can't win 'em all. -

If you're going to break teams down at home when they sit like that, you've got to move the ball quickly and accurately. More so when they shut down the wings so effectively. We didn't have that for large parts of the game today, and unfortunately didn't take the chances when they came. Boro executed their plan pretty perfectly, and got a bit of luck. -

We can score, I've seen enough inventiveness and chances to believe that. Matt Elliott made a good point - we've been carved open many times this season to be saved by Hermansen or poor finishing. Lovely seeing Wout and Vesty skin 3 players and charge into their box but it's risky and dare I say complacent because they can't get back.
