Yes.
It makes it more interesting and is proportionate as we arent talking about a play off for the league title or something.
Everyone knows what they signed up to at the start of the season.
FWIW this is Ipswich's run in. Currently on 87 to our 85 but with one match less to play.
The three away matches are massive for them while Boro are inconsistent. Watford and Huddersfield matches are should be nailed on wins.
The first 3 games are against teams near the bottom although that has its own challenges of course.
After Southampton's defeat against Ipswich, the last 4 games could be against teams with nothing to play for by the time we face them.
The difference between holding out and throwing this away in this last few minutes is massive for me.
Hold out and we are more than capable of winning the next 3 going into the final 4 games.
Throw it away and we dont have the character or resilience to get what we need in the remaining games to go up.
There are 3 records records people often think will be beaten but arent, which just remind people of the difficulty of each.
- Arsenal's unbeaten season
- Reading's 106 points
- Vardy's 11 in a row
It will never change when there's money to be made.
FFP doesnt help as its used as an excuse by owners to increase revenue sources as the detriment of fans.
Edit - to clarify my gripe is more with changing kits every season than anything else.
