I think it was more that we were just that bad.

Looking on the replays it’s a really harsh penalty and another reason why I really hate the “refs call” because they simply just won’t turn them over. To be fair to the ref I think he acted on assistance from his lino. But Tarkowski has tried to move his arm out of the way and I also think it’s high enough up to be considered on the shirt line. Everton will be fuming I’m sure.

You’ve answered your own question bro
-
I can only imagine it’s because of the flak he’s received from fans for his alleged antics last season that have been reported by (albeit fairly credible) journalists.
-
Think this game has gone how most would expect it to do so. Leeds full of energy and on a high. With a bit more quality they could be out of sight. Everton being Everton.
-
Looking forward to this. First match of the premier league season I’ll have seen. Should be a decent atmosphere and will be nice to see KDH play. Can see it being a long season for Leeds though, that line up screams relegation for me.

This is exactly the stuff I mean in my previous post in this thread.

If he’s gonna chuck in performances like Saturday then for £30m. He can go. But the money has to be reinvested.
-
Nope. He’s injured and another that’s not going to just be released from the silly contract he’s on.

I think a lot of the problem is that very few of us actually know what has specifically gone on. People hear things without hearing both sides and take it for gospel. Can anyone actually back up with facts that he was behind the Enzo sign? We live in strange times where fans can’t wait to jump on the backs of people and criticise just because they feel they have the right to do so. Of course there’s no smoke without fire and I’m not saying Winks hasn’t done anything wrong or acted unprofessionally but one thing I can say for sure is that no one on here knows the full extent of it all. Disappointed that he didn’t acknowledge fans at Preston, that’s very poor in my eyes and if he continues playing here, that can’t happen again. Even if you don’t want to clap the fans at least walk off the pitch with the rest of the team together. He either needs to get himself a move, or failing that get on with playing football for us.

Says it all when Alfonso is sat in the room where the food is served next to the bar with the Man Utd game on his phone

Not good enough, need to keep the ball better, in a nutshell.

Moody? I’m not sure about that. He’s one of the most approachable players I’ve ever met. Of course being a pro you should be able to take some stick but I will always stand by “don’t give it out if you can’t take it back” - I’m not saying he’s brilliant but at this level he’s more than capable. Just because he looks like he doesn’t care, doesn’t mean that he actually doesn’t.

How can the majority of them not be. Their attitude is poor, the arrogance of some of them is an absolute disgrace. Without showing any disrespect to Preston not one of their players would get into our starting eleven yet they beat us in nearly every department today. This is a team that stayed in this league by the skin of their teeth last season and hasn’t won since March. We aren’t a team at the minute. We are a bunch of individuals playing together.

Unfortunately for some of you, it’s quite clear that Faes is our best centre half. Again we improved when he came on which is strange considering he’s a centre half. I think he has to start against Charlton, alongside Nelson.

Ayew is in there I’m sure.
-
Yep - didn’t have any hard decisions to make. But was still very much useless.

What a surprise, Gavin Ward is still honking. Every single little pull or time they fell over he gave them a free kick. Every time they were pulling us and dragging us down to the ground absolutely nothing. He’s a proper little dweeb, so inconsistent it’s unbelievable and just a terrible referee.

Really and quite thankfully, pathetic. Bullied on and off the ball. Preston wanted it more, and worked harder. We kept trying things that just weren’t working for most of the game but Preston successfully managed to identify our weak points and go direct again them. Monga the only one that can come out of that without any credit whatsoever. We had a 5 minute period either side of scoring when we finally looked ok but then we just shot ourselves in the foot. Trying too much around the box trying to be intricate and get caught on the break. A lack of heart, a lack of enthusiasm. Tried to walk the ball into the net or shoot from ridiculous positions. Obviously, and typically Daniel Iversen makes an unreal save to deny Fatawu. We desperately need additions to freshen all this up. The players need to take a long hard look at themselves after this as well.

Garbage. Get to the final third then shit themselves. Trying to walk it in. Not enough intensity. Wide open at the back. Lumping balls into the box when no one is there.

What is he doing man

Man of the match…. Daniel Iversen
