  1. Superb nights these were. Even though it was a reserve game, nothing came close to beating the excitement of walking up them winding stairs and seeing the pitch. (Was even better on a matchday when you were in the kop, those few stops and the smell, the view, unreal)
  2. England start tonight against Czech Republic. Always enjoy watching and seeing what talent is coming through.
  3. Would’ve loved Rosenior, but just having signed a new contract and European football on the horizon, we can scratch that. Would love Danny Rohl out of all the realistic opportunities.
  4. The ability is there, that’s not the problem. It’s the heart and desire that’s the problem.
  5. I think the bigger picture is, it’s June and after a long season they’re playing in a friendly. But then you look at Senegal and what it meant to them and that’s exactly what it should mean to them. Reminded me so much of us under Rodgers when he’d lost the changing room. So many backwards passes, not committing enough men forward and getting cut through on the counter. For me, there’s a lot of players that played tonight that shouldn’t be near the starting 11. Henderson, Chalobah, Lewis-Skelly, and although he didn’t start, Madueke was absolute cat piss. Gibbs White looked good when he came on. Bellingham seems to think the aura that he’s carrying around with him means he entitled to fouls every time he’s gets touched. Didn’t understand bringing Rogers on up front either. Saying all of this, we started without 6/7 players who would regularly be starting (Pickford, Trent, Stones, Maguire, Bellingham, Foden, Palmer) and I guess it’s what friendlies are for but no one really put a marker down to show they can dislodge any of them.
  6. And not to be a downer but when Monga inevitably leaves at least now we’ll get a proper fee for him, none of this nominal nonsense.
  7. Great news, a nice little boost for us that. Looking forward to him tearing up the champ next season.
  8. I know Portugal means a hell of a lot to Ronaldo but go and celebrate with your team mates man.
  9. There’s a cracking video on the clubs socials of the fans in the “Stench and Benno” stand as the win is secured. Two young lads especially at the front giving it licks, love to see it.
  10. Oh no…. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  11. Jeepers we made hard work of that! But what a win, putting a decent score on the board for them to chase is like an extra 6 runs error they’ve started. Caught most of their innings on the stream but lost signal on the train during Van Beek’s last over. Arsenal dropped out when signal came back Also found it strange he gave Walker a last over when he was so expensive and Trevaskis who went for 5 still had 2 left. But still, will take the win. Sounded a decent atmosphere as well from the stream.
  12. Gutted I’m missing it tonight. Hoping for another win and another decent crowd.
  13. Especially when you consider we were 12/2 as well.
  14. Been a great chase this. Superb win on a really tough pitch. Get in. Love Ben Cox
  15. Once, against Notts. The batting isn’t an issue. As seen on Friday night. The problem last season was that we couldn’t take the wickets.
  16. Especially when you consider there was 4 innings played on it today and not one of them went over 123! The batting line up is absolutely fine we’ve got players who have scored 100’s, 50’s etc.
  17. The only thing I can remember Is that it’s by or the name of the track starts with “Ben” 😂🤦🏻‍♂️
  18. Does anyone know where I can find the tracks that they play whilst the players are warming up? There’s a tune that’s stuck in my head and I can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called.
  19. I really hope this doesn’t flop as a spectacle.
  20. Evans and Swindells having a bat for Ivanhoe.
  21. The thing with the Friday night games are it’s just perfect after a week at work. £25 and you’re there longer than a football match, can booze in the stands and even if you aren’t all that into it and just go along for the crack with your mates.
  22. It’s a great offer. Bit harsh on the white ball pass holders but if it fills The ground so be it. Used these offers so many times last season I don’t think I paid full price for any game. Can’t make next week else I’d be all over it. Had to be a good 2.5/3k there tonight. Great to see.
  23. You could tell it wasn’t out let alone in the stands.
