We have regressed so far in white ball, it’s painful. I feel like mates are being picked far too often, no one seems to be consistently getting scores. Will Jacks keeps on flopping. We used to seemingly bat down to at least 10 and now we are looking over our shoulders where the runs are coming from at 5 down. I think the first ODI we selected 7 bowlers, which is just obscene. Yep a couple of them can bat but we used to have Curran coming in a 8/9 and now he’s in at 6. Something needs to change quick.

It’s great to see. Hopefully they’ll put on a good show, maybe even get through. It’ll be a great occasion for the club and the town nonetheless.

Just wouldn’t work. I don’t think any of them can receive the ball like Winks does and play with that composure. These two are obviously more suited to pinching the ball and running at teams.

Agree. We’ve had a lot worse this season. Ipswich fans up in arms about him. I thought he was doing a great job of slowing the game down for them last 15. The penalty I would say they’re unlucky with, but they can spin after they got away with that one On KDH last season. Phillips red is totally justified over two bookings, he could also have easily been given a red for his first yellow. All in all, he wasn’t great but we’ve had plenty worse this season.
