I noticed that the previous year's away kit is on sale for just £32 at Sports Direct, but it doesn’t have the King Power sponsor on it. Does anyone know why that is? Sorry if this is a silly question!

Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)
Haywood_6 replied to FoxinNotts's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ricardo, Bilal, Vardy and Ndidi all could come off the bench to make an impact. But I think I'd start with - Hermansen Justin Faes Okoli Kristiansen Winks Skipp Fatawu Buonanotte Mavididi Ayew -
We’re going to beat Arsenal at the Emirates— odegaard is injured and I can't remember us ever winning there. There are always a few surprise results each season, this could be one of them? Alright, that's enough. I'm going doolally again.

Everyone always predicts a win against Bournemouth, they're no pushovers. Probably fancy our chances more against a weakened palace than Bournemouth.

I moved to Farnborough last year and they play in the National League South, just around the corner from me at the Cherrywood Road stadium. I’ve been a few times but have started getting more into it lately—they won 3-1 yesterday. Ricky Holmes is probably the best player, even though he’s one of the oldest. Still got and energy to burn. Edon Pruti, the center-back, is also a really good player. The stadium holds about 6,000, but usually only around 1,000 show up for home games. It’s £15 to get in and £5.30 for a pint. Obviously Leicester at heart, but I do enjoy going down to support them and there's some really decent football played. Up the Boro

Yep - won it once. Beat Wolves 4-0 away from home

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official
Haywood_6 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think Edouard will be good here, just got a feeling he's the right fit for us. -
It's definitely a relief because our chances of staying up have greatly improved. Yes, we overspent, and we've managed to get away with it, but if there's a loophole to use, you'd be foolish not to. Now we can focus on football. Honestly I'm just hoping this gives us a boost, massively important we get at least one win from the next two games

There was a points deduction in the air, There was a points deduction in the air, There was a points deduction, a points deduction, a points deduction in the air, But Leicester City lawyers shot it down, Leicester City lawyers shot it down, Leicester City lawyers shot it down!

He's a defensive midfielder and nothing more in the PL. Got no problem with him coming off the bench and doing a job for us - but please stop starting him. We simply have to get our creative players on the pitch. And Skipp and Winks are better all rounders than Ndidi so they need to start

We need to talk about Jamie Vardy
Haywood_6 replied to Paninistickers's topic in Leicester City Forum
I tend to agree with the original comment. With Vardy leading the line at 37, I can’t see us making much impact in the Premier League. He’s still impressive for his age and will score the occasional goal, but his overall contribution is quite limited. I’d hate to see him fade out quietly this season. -
Very strange one. He's one of the best footballers are the club. The biggest mark against Cooper for me. The fact he's not even coming off the bench is a proper red flag.

3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …
Haywood_6 replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
The fight is there to see. It's not for lack of effort but we aren't creating a huge amount and missing a bit of a clinical edge. I think we'll get results though and probably get better as the season goes on as the new signings gel. Hopefully Cooper will be more positive with selections especially at home against teams around us in the league. -
He's such a big unit. Out muscled them a few times and he isn't bad on the ball. I really like him. Faes looked like the one more likely to make a mistake today. Okoli was solid.
-
We weren't entirely outplayed, but Villa were more clinical. There's definitely some fight in this team. We just need to be bolder and braver earlier in the game.
-
**** off. He's gone to Ipswich. And we're stuck with Ayew and Reid
-
Is he staying then
-
He's not bad to be fair. Wouldn't be against it
-
Maupay is going to Marseille
-
I'd much rather have Sargent than Maupay
-
Always a tough game at Walsall
-
Where will he fit in? I assume he'll be competing with Buonanotte for the CAM spot?
-
Wrong thread
-
That's Ayew in the starting 11 for the rest of the season
-
What a goal
