1st half summed up Pitch is awful Midfield struggling McCarthy with some good saves Aluko one of the first names on the team sheet Chaplin done ok, nothing stand out Hope Riley Carr plays some part this season, has looked very good so far this pre season

When Abdul is on it, he’s absolute dynamite, a joy to watch Sadly it only came 1 in 6-7 matches for us

Playing some nice stuff and not just keeping possession for possession sake all the time, some nice clipped balls over the top have neatly resulted in good chances, can see why there is a big emphasis on fitness, we press high and very quick to get the ball back as fast as possible

Some need to remember what league we are in 🤣 for the position we are in it’s a cracking signing for me

Alves different class Carr, Page, Aluko, Otchere look solid The press has been relentless most of the time, not allowed them to settle on the ball whatsoever Some really nice passages of play, moving the ball well, looking quick when the ball is out wide

Depending on his wages, 2 years seems a very sensible deal. If true he’s signed it’s a good first signing for me

Not delighted at all, much like everyone else, but willing to give him a chance, it’s got to work for him, career wise

Heard Martin is a done deal

I think he sums up the saying of “you can separate the art from the artist” for me. As a player for us, beyond incredible and probably the best I will ever see in my lifetime. But as a person he’s not someone I could listen to on a weekly show, podcast, etc. Seen a few fair few clips where he doesn’t come across that well in all fairness.
