These are scoring a shed load of goals at the moment. What could go wrong against our "watertight" defence?!

Was thinking to myself how dreadful he has been this season, bar a few spectacular moments, but then checked the stats. Despite being largely rubbish in general play he's still managed the 4th most assists and 10th most goals and assists combined in the league, all whilst playing for a dreadful team without a functioning centre forward and very little creativity. He also has the most successful dribbles per game in the league by a considerable margin. Goes to show how good he could be if he was on form in a properly functioning team, managed by competent coaching staff.

Fair enough but, jeez, that was a hard watch.

Really, really poor quality match. It's not sustainable for us to win many games playing like that.

He absolutely is, based on his track record in the Championship at Swansea and Southampton.

Amazing to think that 2 years ago we'd amassed 58 points in 23 games, 7 more than Coventry, as runaway leaders, have on the board at the same stage this season.

Becoming a normal occurrence now. Really sad to see. There is just no anticipation and buzz for games any more.

We're season ticket holders but we've only been to a handful of games this season, so more than happy to miss this one, especially given the stupid KO time.

Pedant alert!! We didn't finish bottom in 2007/08. We finished 22nd in a 24 team league. We actually managed 52 points - not sure we'll get many more than that this season after the points deduction.

We could look to get him a League One loan ahead of us moving into that division next season.

Sadly, not. My only ambition for this season now is that we somehow finish outside the bottom 3 after the points deduction. This manager will never have the nous to mount a serious promotion campaign, especially with a squad that is so lacking in terms of physicality, energy and commitment.

Kept our season tickets but have only been to 3 or 4 games. I suspect we might give them up at the end of the season.

I do like Pipes on the whole but I've stopped listening to When You're Smiling. Independent podcasts are able to be far more honest about the current situation, so I prefer them.

The performances of Jalub, Okoli and Abdul today were shockingly bad, even by the pitiful standards of this season.

Just switched on Wrexham v Sheff U. The energy and intensity of this game compared to the insipid dross we served up at the KP earlier is staggering.

As mentioned in the match thread, it's symptomatic of our recruitment in recent seasons that in summer 2024 we paid more for Okoli than F*rest paid for Milenkovic.

It's what happens when you have no strategic long term plan.

That last 30 minutes was really, really bad. There was zero intensity and the players simply stopped running. Can't see how the manager can survive now unless the finances are so bad we can't afford to sack him. There is simply no other reason why we should retain his services.
