  1. Scenes when the same XI are still on the pitch when we're 1 down with 15 minutes left.
  2. This can't go on.
  3. Couldn't make the game today. Is it looking like the concourse boycott is happening?
  4. All while having by far the highest wage bill of any club in the league. Disgraceful really.
  5. Out of interest, who would you play as the wing backs?
  6. Ayew can do one but great to see Page given a chance as an 8. Looks like Daka and Soumaré are being ostracised or left out in case they are moved out this month.
  7. His point about our failure to use performance related pay was very interesting. What makes our approach even more unforgivable is that the year when our wages really ramped up to an unsustainable level was when we were coming off the back of two 5th place finishes. We were in a massively strong negotiating position to get good deals as we were clearly a very attractive proposition to players. And yet, whether through hubris or incompetence, we just threw money at players, many of whom probably couldn't believe their luck as they're sh1t. My view is that all this stems from incompetence, not hubris. Can't think how else it would be that any group of senior execs of a major company would have signed off on a wage bill that was 116% of turnover. WTAF?! That is rank incompetence and is at the root of all of our problems. Plus it takes so long to address this, especially when you sign too many duff players who nobody wants. Hence why 4 or 5 years later, even after selling our stars, we are still saddled with an eye watering wage bill and a bang average squad (if that). It's so sad that the hierarchy messed things up so badly. It should never have come to this, given the position we were in.
  8. What's his prognosis of our financial sustainability over coming years, given that we keep taking out loans against future income to meet current bills? Is there a possibility we are heading for administration in a few years in his view?
  9. The whole culture and spirit of the club is broken. Imagine scoring a last minute equaliser and neither the fans nor players celebrate. Imagine Ayew seemingly time wasting whilst taking a free kick when we are 1 down with a couple of minutes left. Imagine the manager not making any subs by choice until the 78th minute when the momentum of the game was clearly against us for the whole of the second half. Imagine Ayew being left on the pitch for 90 minutes again, besmirching the number 9 shirt. It's genuinely getting to the point when I'm not sure I can sit through many more games like this.
  10. The fact that he is our manager is an embarrassment.
  11. That's definitely our "good" half. Second half playing against the wind, with Wrexham raining high balls into our box is going to be grim viewing.
  12. Coarsworth also scored 2 cracking goals at Barnsley in a 3-2 win. I was there!
  13. The only positive thought I can muster tonight is that including this one there are only another 19 league games to go this season.
  14. Okoli at RB instead of Aluko?! This manager really is clueless. Assume Vesty has been knocking on his door so he's felt the need to play him again, but he doesn't think he can drop Okoli. Weak.
  15. From what I've seen of them, Wrexham get a lot of crosses into the box and are great at attacking them. Dealing with that should be meat and drink for our keeper and defence.
  16. These lose very few at home. They're not losing 2 in 4 days. Another defeat, probably with a whimper this time as the poor dears will be tired after trying a bit harder than normal today.
  17. Can't bear to see his mournful, hapless expression for another game. Pretty certain that is how the players feel too.
  18. Should have been 2 up at the break. As soon as we weren't you just knew what was coming. The fact that in the last 21 games only Sheff Wed have conceded more than us is truly shocking. Defensively we are utterly terrible. The keeper is nervy and error prone, Ricky P's legs have gone, Thomas is the worst LB in the league, and we don't have one dominant, physical CB. Just counting down the games until the end of this horrible season.
  19. The attacking talent they have on their bench compared to what we have to bring on.
  20. What this team lacks more than anything is physicality, energy and legs. This is why we are routinely steamrollered away from home. And yet he's basically returned to the same XI that was overrun at Sheff U, with the exception of picking the geriatric Ayew up front instead of Silko. Hard to see how this game won't play out in exactly the same way as that one.
  21. That's the most likely outcome for me, too. We'll probably also concede in the first 10 just to settle their nerves from the start.
  22. How about the current lot? As a collective, I don't think I've ever felt less connected to a Leicester team. Obviously there are a few exceptions individually within it who I like, but as a whole they are our worst XI for a long time, especially given the wages most of them are on. This season has largely been a disgrace, with some shockingly bad performances. Genuinely can't think of one game where we've been good for 70 minutes, let alone 90.
  23. OMG, this is making 2005-8 look like halcyon days!
  24. Can't bear him. Never thought I would find a commentator more annoying than Jonathan Pearce. And to top it off he supports that lot.
  25. Surely we won't extend his deal?! He's no doubt on big wages and he's only going to get worse, not better. But then this is Leicester City in 2026 so most probably you are right and I am wrong!
