Birmingham 2-1 LCFC, post-match thread
Sunbury Fox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Players seemed happy to take a narrow defeat in the second half. Pitiful. -
Would need to see it back as my stream is not the best but I think it's a harsh decision. His foot was very low.
-
But beat us at home at a canter.....
-
Can't believe we've not brought in another out and out number 9 and a LB. We all identified those as the 2 main weaknesses (amongst many) in this team and yet here we are with Thomas at LB and Daka or Ayew up front. Depressing.
-
I'd love to see Aluko start and Luke Thomas never start for us again but I don't think we should be shoehorning an 18 year old into the team in a position that he's not familiar with in what will be a very tough away game. It's why we needed to bring in a new LB in the transfer window.
-
Agree. Think I'd go with: Begovic Ricardo Lascelles Nelson VK Skipp Winks Mukasa Fatawu Daka Mavididi But expect Thomas and Ayew to be picked ahead of VK and Daka.

Jamaal Lascelles joins on 6 month deal (official.)
Sunbury Fox replied to Burbagefox89's topic in Transfer Talk
I see the logic but the worry is that he's going to be injured continually and we'll have offered a 2 or 3 year contract on pretty big wages to secure the deal. At this time more than ever we simply can't afford to tie up significant funds on a player who will rarely play. -
The quality of the league this season is abysmal, which makes it even more unforgivable that we are at risk of relegation.
-
The same West Brom who played us off the pitch a few weeks back, despite us spawning a win.
-
I'm not even sure we'll stay up without a points deduction. The EFL will probably wait for us to be relegated this season then slap with us a huge points deduction to wreck any chance we have of coming back up.

Horrific
-
I'm only interested in what the teams at the bottom are doing now, funny as it is to see Cov falling apart.

Divine Mukasa from Manchester City (loan, official.)
Sunbury Fox replied to DZ-LCFC's topic in Transfer Talk
I'm assuming the clowns running the club didn't include a clause allowing us to send him back or they've agreed that he can only be sent back with Burnley's agreement -

Not the kind of player we need in a Championship relegation battle. -
Getting worse and worse.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Sunbury Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I never want to watch him play for us again. Appalling and past it. -
League One again, ole, ole.
-
The worst thing is that I don't think we've anywhere near bottomed out yet.
-
So nothing is going to change then. We're fvcked.
-
In the current situation, picking any XI that is not horrific is very hard but if I were Kingy I would go with this XI: Bego Ricardo Nelson Vesty Aluko Abdul Winks Page Monga Daka Mavididi
-
Knowing the extent of Rudkin's scouting networks and negotiating skills, he'll sell Fatawu for 35m and bring back Kasey McAteer for 30m as his replacement.
-
Imagine 5, 4 or even 2 years ago, thinking that we might be contemplating taking Coventry's 3rd choice left back on loan in a bid to strengthen our first XI.

How is this selling so far? -

Sunbury Fox replied to Yes N'Didi's topic in Ticket News and Travel
This will surely sell out easily at those prices. How come they've only given us 3000 tickets? Aren't we allowed 15% of capacity in the FA Cup which equates to around 4800 tickets? -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
Sunbury Fox replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
To an extent but the club is so much bigger than it was back then and this current bunch of players are paid eye watering sums of money, compared to the likes of Beckford and Mills, etc.
