  1. He's massively underperformed all season in truth, apart from the occasional magic moment. His general play has been amongst the worst in what is a shockingly bad team.
  2. Sack him tonight, for God's sake. That second half was an utter abomination. Watford were pushing more for a goal in the last 30 minutes than us. Shocking.
  3. We spent £12m on Okoli. A bit more than Forest spent on Milenkovic from another Serie A club in the same summer. Another great example of how we've wasted money.
  4. Insulting to Amartey to compare his competence on the ball to Okoli's. Okoli can barely even be described as a footballer to be honest.
  5. We are beyond garbage. You've got a great chance of 3 points. Despite being season ticket holders me and my boys will again be staying away. Not going to waste a day of our Xmas break making a 230 mile round trip to spend 90 minutes watching this sad excuse of a team. Will serve them right if the ground is half empty.
  6. QPR's tactics were simple but highly effective. They got the ball forward very quickly, repeatedly won second balls and ensured that they blocked off all our highly predictable passing lanes when Vestergaard had possession at the back. According to the stats, they won 2/3 of the ariel duals in the match and won 79% of tackles made, compared to 54% for us. On such a small pitch they totally suffocated us, ruthlessly exposing our lack of physicality. 4-0 at HT obviously flattered them, with 2 of the goals coming from very low xG shots, but there's no doubt they were far superior to us in all areas. For a start, just compare the performance of their wingers to that of our much vaunted pair. It is perhaps telling that their manager has a decent track record in a top 5 European league, compared to the hapless Marti, whose career highlight was finishing 18th with QPR.
  7. The difference being that Cifuentes made a big thing of connecting with the fans which Ruud never did.
  8. I hope that's true as it would be an indication that he knows he's being sacked.
  9. I've been following the club since the early 80s and can't remember anything like this, especially in the Championship.
  10. How did we go from Vardy to him as our no 9? Dear God.
  11. Astonished the average rating is as high as 3.9 after a frankly embarrassing performance.
  12. I assume they thought that putting him on a long contract would help us get a decent fee for him. But instead he'll still be stinking out the place in 2029.
  13. I don't want to believe he is totally done because, although he was unbelievably poor today, he was very good against Ipswich only a week ago, up against a much better player.
  14. A win today and we'd have been 7th and 1 point off the play offs. Incredible really given how sh1te we are. I know we're all raging about being as low as 13th but in reality we're lucky to be that high. Our underlying numbers are horrific and that's confirmed by the eye test. This season is a write off to be honest; we just need to limp to 50 or so points in order to stay up and then hope we can have a massive clear out next summer.
  15. Who still has a track record in the Championship that Cifuentes could only dream of.
  16. No changes, ha, ha, ha!!
  17. This is it. Marti has never had any real success in his entire career.
  18. 3, 3 and 4 down in 3 of the last 6 matches. Totally unacceptable. Surely another manager could do better than this.
  19. Always concerned when everyone on here is positive about a team selection!
  20. Is this the quietest pre match thread ever? Can’t decide if that is because people are happier about the team or just apathetic. It’s mainly the Christmas pay outrage that’s stimulated the few posts that have been made.
  21. I was always a big fan of Maddison, a truly brilliant technical player, but I also feel that missed pen was in the end a crucial factor in our relegation as it was against our direct rival and would have put us 3-1 up with the last kick of the first half, making it very likely we would have won that game. Had we won that game, we would have stayed up.
  22. I was at that one!
