So we will end up having about 18% possession against the better teams, like Forest did under him. I get that possession isn't everything but removing some of our most technically proficient players is going to make this a very hard watch.

It comes from the fact that until 2 years ago, the thought of us loaning a reserve player from Brighton was a very unlikely scenario. Brighton have clearly been well-run but in terms of history, fanbase and recent success we are miles ahead. Even in the excellent first full season under de Zerbi, they finished below where we did twice under Rodgers. And then we've won the PL, Champo twice and FA Cup in the past 10 years, whilst playing in Europe for 3 seasons in that time, including making the QF of the UCL and the SF of the Conference League.
