Worst ever managers - we have had a few

Enzo got them out of jail to some extent and gave them an undeserved opportunity to make right all the wrongs that had gone on before. And then they deliver that transfer window… 🤣 beggars belief really. -

Haha Joe Cole says if Maddison was out there he wouldn’t be hiding. Er… -

It’s probably been said, but at times this season for prolonged periods in both West Ham and Spurs I’ve seen LCFC levels of passivity, particularly in defending. I think Spurs are in big trouble. Passive at the back and very disjointed up front, no game plan, inexperienced manager in England, tough fixtures and the Maddison attitude rife in their squad. -

Cifuentes runs them all close -
He’s been wanting out for a while. At the start of this season he was trying to manoeuvre a move to Spain or Portugal so I’m told, though he’d get a pittance of what we’re paying him. Fascinating to see what his next contract will be.
-
Basically he’s going to be our Jack Rodwell. Mega wages in League One eating up 30% of the entire wage budget allocation. At least he doesn’t have his injury record, but more to the point who will pay a comparable wage? Er, no one. Good job we’ve promoted the clowns that dished out these contracts eh.

Gibbs-White has a face you just want to slap. I can’t explain it, but it’s a fact -
Let’s see. I can sort of see the logic of promoting the finance guy, but he’s been in post 15 years and has been partly to blame for it all unravelling, though he has begun to tidy up his own mess. But is it a case of being hesitant to bring in new faces because they might be more critical? I’ve said before it feels full of KP career yes men. Stale, no new ideas or direction.

Fascinating to see what the result would be with a representative sample of match going fans

Protest march vs Norwich - Sat 28th Feb 2026

Rodger’s is also widely credited with changing the recruitment model to go after ‘established’ players, and we know how that transpired. Also monumental failure of leadership from those above him who should have known better. -
Lee Philpott announced as Director of Fake Tan, and Coatsworth in as Chief Hairline Officer. The tone deafness to not take the opportunity to get rid of Rudkin and begin to get some credit back with supporters. Amazing. The footballing world thinks Rudkin is a problem and yet he’s been promoted. No accountability, and that’s what we see on the field.
-
I hope you’re right, but I highly doubt it
-
He also acknowledged the protestors as well. Would have been very easy for him to ignore, and perhaps you think he would. But then again there were media stories saying he got frustrated with Rudkin so maybe he knows…

The mythical Gary Goals? On another subject, have you ever thought about debating with a couple of people who are King Power in? It sounds like the protest led to some heated discussions in the ground, and eviscerating their pathetic arguments would surely make for great listening. Though I’d be surprised if you could find anyone articulate enough who has that point of view as they all seem like thick as 🐷 💩 -

Absolutely. But at the same time these people don’t have an answer to the question, “so you want to carry on as we are then?” - no one is happy with on field performances or the direction of the club, and yet they can’t see or don’t appreciate that we on the verge of plummeting to depths no one has ever seen. How far down the leagues/pyramid will it take for them to also want change? Will they not want change when we go into administration? How stupid is it to assume new owners would be worse - I don’t think that is possible. I’m now convinced after yesterday we will go down. Next season Lincoln City will be in a league above us, and we will be playing the likes of Bromley. Meanwhile four years ago we played in Rome and were on the verge of a European final. All because of sheer incompetence, a toxic culture and a lack of leadership. But the most surprising thing about all of this is how passive and stupid many fans are, and unfortunately they will get a club that they deserve. -
New manager first home game on the back of two positive away performances. What a wasted opportunity.

I had a heated discussion with one such fellow who described the protest as a waste of time and full of “students and communist” looking types. He also said a new owner would take money out of the club. These people are thick as pig shit and you can’t reason with them. We will spiral down and down and sadly a lot of the fanbase will have been complicit.- 856 replies

Anyone bringing placards? Or signs? -
West Brom have sacked their manager, so we really do need to capitalise on this promising start and get some wins on the board. Nearly a quarter of the season left so I’m not panicking just yet, particularly given Rowett’s good start. Will be interesting to see who West Brom go far and how long it takes to appoint them. But they have Sheff Weds at home coming up next…

Massively massively out of his depth.

I think he’d have earned it.
