Well it's been a full 24 hours since anybody on here found out we were even bothering to hire a manager, so yeah it's probably fallen through, or just working at our usual speed.

So I want to get this straight, your sympathy is with the club (board, players etc) not the fans? You feel sorry for the board (that have mismanaged the club to the brink of financial ruin) and the players (who'll mostly be long gone after relegating us for the 2nd consecutive season) You don't feel sorry for the fans who are seeing the club they love slowly sleepwalking into administration? The fans who turned up in the 3rd tier 18 years ago, and will turn up there again long after the players and board have jumped ship? All because they say some mean words. The players and the board should arrive home after every game and thank their lucky stars they aren't putting in this kind of effort in front of some actual passionate fanbases. This echo chamber of a forum definitely doesn't reflect the meek, placid nature of the majority of our fanbase. I'm in no way attacking you, I'm questioning your view. -

The irony here is brilliant, I mean this with as much respect as I possibly can. Why are you still here?? Nobody wants Wout back, he doesn't want to come back. Hopefully in the summer we can all wash our hands of each other and everyone Is happier. We don't need a relative/fan/stalker telling us all WE'RE wrong, we've seen the guy play. It matters not if Monaco think he's great, good for them. The truth is, for what was paid for him (and to him) he wasn't good enough. He's not awful but he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. -

And who will be there long after these players and this board have gone?? The fans! Because they support LCFC. They don't support owners putting this club on brink of disaster, they don't support players (like Wout) walking away with £1000's per week after giving a half-arsed performance once again, throwing his hands up in a strop after his own mistake costs a goal. You wouldn't understand as you're not a real football person -

If we manage to get as much as £0 for Wout, it's Maguire and Fofana levels of "how'd we manage to get that much!?" -
So most of them then?

I'm not sure it matters where on Top's list a manager falls, the guy is a moron.

This is fair enough. He's a better manager than Cifuentes and definitely a better option than sticking with King, who will admit himself that he's in over his head. The delay is clearly that we've tried to get better managers in and been knocked back, so I won't be critical on that front. They should still be hounded out of the club on the basis that the 2 paragraphs above had to be said.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

"Ready to make an approach" ??? He's apparently your mate, you incompetent brown-noser!! Pick up the phone and ask him what it'd take to get him in tomorrow. And go from there... -

Imagine pitching the club to a manager. "Yes, you DO need to score 3 or 4 goals a game to get anything from it because our back 5 are competition winners, but on the bright side you have Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka up front." -

I thought Scotland were excellent for the most part, in fairness. Only Watt being expensive. For England, a few silly dismissals from the usual suspects, but mainly a comfortable chase. -
It's hard to overstate the insignificance of this fixture. Get through the game with only a minor groin injury to Ayew and that'll be all that matters.

Southampton v Leicester - FA CUP - Saturday 14th Feb 3pm
wardyfox86 replied to beepee1984's topic in Leicester City Forum
Mukasa I believe is Cup tied. I probably wouldn't risk Lascelles for this, maybe 30 off the bench. And a bit lightweight in the middle, I'd play Skipp and move Page up. I don't think I'll bother following, let alone watching. I'm annoyed that we now have a cup game that nobody, not even the players, will probably care about. -

Terribly put. But surely they just mean that, in the circumstances, the European fixtures are far less important and should be used to see what is required for the league. I still obviously hope Fenerbache stuff 'em though. -

Don't think they've even battled back, Scotland were always going to have a spell, they have a solid enough middle. Poor batting trying to accelerate once they lost Berrington and Bruce. -

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?

Just completed all stakes on all decks, on Balatro. Black deck took me as long as the other 14 decks combined, I swear. Great pick up and play game, but you can also lose hours on it. -

Realistic Managerial Replacements
wardyfox86 replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I bet they're moving through names and getting knocked back plenty quickly. People in football cottoned on to how shambolic we were, long before media and fans did. Look at Stowell and Cleverley "chatting with Nigel" and reminiscing. Managers talk and I'm sure other conversations have happened between people that have had experience with our hierarchy and word gets around, that's putting aside the state on the pitch. -

I'd imagine it's significantly easier to get things done quickly when you actually have a pot to piss in, and something tangible to offer down the line.
