  1. They’re going to score and we’re still offering absolutely nothing.
  2. When does being constantly “out of form” and “low on confidence” become just “a bit shit”? He offers nothing in 90% of games.
  3. They’re already in the concourse necking pints to try and numb the boredom.
  4. Heard more noise coming from my local bowls club. Hard to blame the fans though. There’s no supporting this abhorrent garbage.
  5. They can’t even string one or two passes together. I don’t have the words to articulate just how bad this is.
  6. Has Carranza even touched the ball yet? We’re just bypassing the strikers altogether.
  7. We’re not unlucky, we’re ****ing dogshit.
  8. I hate this club. I am this club’s number one hater.
  9. Looks like there are a lot of empty seats.
  10. The **** is he doing?
  11. Our squad is a bit shit, isn’t it?
  12. Yup, this is about it. It's the dogshit passive, uncreative football which is the issue. Not sure whether that's down to Marti's tactics or the players. I suspect it's a bit of both.
  13. It's on Sky Sports Main Event so any British / Irish sports pub type places I'm sure will be showing it.
  14. Now THIS is how you treat that man. Instead our gutless, spineless board sat silently and cowered whilst he lied, publicly undermined them, threw players under the bus and rode roughshod over the reputation of the club. Pathetic.
  15. *sigh* Time to repost this. (not my content)
  16. If you mean “everything under the hood (data, AI, logic) was rebuilt, discarded and replaced” - then no, that’s not the case. The data/tactics/match-engine backbone remains largely the previous SI code that has been used for years. "A SI employee explained that the match engine hasn’t been re-written from the ground up … the Unity integration is about the visualisations and animations" Also confirmed by Ben Carr FM26 is the first in the series to use the Unity game engine for the graphics, visuals, match-day presentation. This "built from the ground up" is opaque marketing tosh that survives from the pre-FM25 disaster. A LOT survives from the previous games and it seems like SI has moved from their proprietary C++ codebase to a new Unity environment and not very well. I know it's not quite as simple as this and I don't profess to be an expert by any means - but by that logic, FM26 is still the same engine introduced over 15 years ago, but with a new lick of paint.
  17. With Warning, Nimrod, American Idiot and Dookie all getting anniversary releases in the last few years - feels like they're becoming very reliant on them. Never that fussed about all the live versions of tracks as they ultimately don't really do the songs justice IMO. Warning is an absolutely iconic album though and curious to hear all the demos and remixes especially Billie Joe's "Otis" mix of Waiting and Macy's Day Parade. The original album suffered from the mastering trends of the early 2000s but the remaster sounds great.
  18. Finally got around to Bring Her Back. Sally Hawkins is absolutely phenomenal. I loved Talk To Me and it's mad that the Philippou brothers have gone from YouTube to being some of the best horror directors out there. As someone who watches a LOT of horror, it's pretty disturbing, bleak and weirdly sad and moving. 9/10, won't watch again.
  19. I've said for some time he's never been the same since the game in the cup vs. Blackburn when he basically should've been dragged off WITHIN the first half as he was that awful. Looked like a lost toddler had run onto the pitch. He basically made intermittent appearances after this then was shipped off to Boro and Sheff Utd where he seemingly didn't fare much better. There's definitely a pattern with him. He's fine for a while and seems to get a bit more confident then he forgets how to be a footballer completely for a game, puts in a Sunday League performance and it's back to square one. Rinse and repeat.
  20. Yup. Some fans bang on about him like he’s some naive 18 year old academy product.
  21. Fail to beat Blackburn at home and he absolutely has to go.
  22. It's obvious that Aiyawatt and Rudkin come as a pair and I rather suspect that the former relies on the latter for advice in a much larger capacity than his DoF role. These two ****ing divs actually go on cruises together FFS. Whilst Aiyawatt is here, Teflon Jon isn't going anywhere. And now that they both seemingly have more control since Whelan's departure, things are only going to get worse.
